I got feedback from a rc 390 owner the akula feels more planted in corners, did 150kmph on the mmrt main straight, I was told pricing could be in the 2-3 lakhs range.Comment

So from the UK BMW Motorrad website the Fully Fueled Road Ready G310R weight is 158.5 kgs.
So if we remove BMW's headlight, tacho and seats, we can assume the weight of the items to be around 7-10 kg.
Now adding the Full Fairing, Led Headlights and Split Seats of Apache 310, the weight should be around 160-162kgs right?
Which is reasonable and should be more fun to ride with that 34 horses and 28 Nm torque, when compared with the heavier Dominar's 185 kg and Mojo's 187 kg weight.
Only The Duke/RC 390 will beat it in acceleration due to lesser weight.
PS: Comparing only with vehicles below Rs.3 lakhs.

The pricing seems to be quite a sensitive subject here. The range keeps changing every time someone says something about it. That being said if the bike is priced above the rc 390 it would be a disappointment to a lot of fans so I don't believe it would go above 2.5 lacs let alone up to 3. That being said, if it is priced between 1.8 to 2.1 lacs, it would obliterate competition for the set of features that are on offer. It really does fill a gap that has existed in the quarter liter segment for a long time.Comment
