This is the most sexiest bike from an Indian manufacturer. Performance figures seems impressive. We will have to see how the heat dissipation is taken care since it's a single cylinder 310 cc engine.. Another important thing to check is the vibrations. The vibes have come down a lot in the RTR 200. But this being 310 cc single, I'm a bit skeptical about it. If they have taken care of these 2 aspects, then it would be a great product. My cousin is booking this hottie. Can't wait to get my hands on it.

I guess a gap isn't the best way to have explained what I was trying to convey. What I'm trying to say is - the Yamaha r3 and ninja 300 are way too expensive. The rc is way too focused and doesn't imo look pleasing ( It's too loud). It also has a tiny fuel tank. The ninja is too heavy, r3 comes with mrf for that price range and so on. The apache seems to be the solution to a lot of these complaints. Looks a stunner, maintainable will be easy as it's from tvs, less aggressive than the r3, seems to be quite comfortable, 300cc for me is a perfect sweet spot, and is probably going to be priced below the bikes it will be compared to. That's what's makes it such a lucrative bike. It takes the best of all the other segments and fits that "gap" which existed due to the consumer desires. Wouldn't you agree?Originally posted by nagoo View Postit never existed in India and never will
(hope I'm making sense)

Absolutely, that's what I understood from your first post. It fills that big gap of the outdated and stopped CBR250R.Originally posted by Chini313 View PostI guess a gap isn't the best way to have explained what I was trying to convey. It not only will sway Dominar off the track but is a true Bajaj killer! I recall when TVS lodged a legal dispute over Bajaj, concerning to the stolen patented design of Apache and emulating it for the first gen Pulsar. It took a while to have a perfect vengeance in place but for sure, what goes by comes by too!sigpic
Your bike is way better than babes, only thing is that you need a proper vision to mull over this fact. :D

I don't think pictures will do it justice, we'll have to wait to see it in personOriginally posted by girishb View PostFrom what I've seen so far, the only thing I'd change is the windscreen. For me, it looks off; it should be narrower at the bottom and wider at the top, like in the Ninjas.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Have to agree. Though Apache 310 produces slightly less power compared to R3, it offers a great package for almost half of R3 price. It makes a lot of sense in the current market scene.Originally posted by AmitBanik46 View PostTVS Akula is launching today. R3 wont be the top choice of many people after that.

Re: Yamaha YZF R3 Owners Reviews and Experiences
Probably the engine capacity is similar, but the characters are totally different. From the images, the Akula seems to be a Track spec, much like the RC, with loads of tech. But people like me wouldnt be able to use it everyday because of its ergonomics. And the parallel twin is something totally different.
The RC was existent when the R3 was launched, but many opted for the R3. I think, both can co-exist, but Yamaha has to first re-launch it
But for people who are okay with the riding position, its gonna be a hoot! Looks absolutely gorgeous.AweSome is too LesS!
