Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
What is the engine oil used for the RR 310. I Checked with the service centre (DHIRAA tvs0), where i use to service the RTR 200. Right now they are using only TVS TRU4 Synthetic 10W 30 (which made me laugh). Also there is a special oil designed by TVS for RR 310, but it has not reached the service centre, hence they are using the TVS TRU4 SYNTHETIC.

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
I believe it was launched by TVS at 2.05 lacs or later silently at 2.15 lacs.Originally posted by JS16 View PostWoah that's a 10k worth of typo right there
But the fact is its prices are again raised silently to 2.23 lacs.
From the launch price of 2.05 to now 2.23 lacs its a difference of 18K.

I booked the RR 310 a few days ago from Cochin TVS, Kerala. The showroom personnels told me that the price may increase to the normal pricing as in other states. Although there are no test rides yet, I saw many people booking the bike while I was strolling around enjoying the beauty of the bikes.

Something similar happened to me. I booked the vehicle on 30th with ex-showroom quoted at 2.05L (Chennai) with a caveat that the final quotation will be shared on 2nd April. The final quote was updated to 2.13L.Originally posted by HyperionX View PostHi there

Cut to today: Found a contact of a TVS territory manager who helped get the dealer to roll back the increase. The rep said that the TVS sales team has convinced the company to honor bookings made at the earlier price and only new bookings will need pay the higher price. Anyone else in the same boat: speak to your dealer (calmly) and reason with them to stick to the quoted price. If required, get a TVS rep's contact using the TVS customer service helpline. You will find they are quite reasonable!

That is good. You can extract some more out of it if you are riding in 5th or 6th gear 90% of the time.Originally posted by dinakarkaushik View PostI am getting approx 32-33 km/l city drive, 890km done. I mostly drive around 5000-6000 rpm 5th or 6th gear.

Could alignment issues cause such vibrations and pulling the bike to one side? LOriginally posted by karthiktup View PostHad received the bike Sunday and I am facing the following problems

Re: TVS Apache RR310 Launched at 2.05 Lakh Ex-Showroom!
I just visited the TVS Century showroom in Wakdewadi, Pune for an update. It seems that delivery schedules are improving and waiting times are getting shorter. The salesman said that the waiting period is around 1.5 months (it was anticipated at 2 months for black and upto 6 months for red when I visited the showroom in the first week of March). However, they are still not giving test rides.

Its not the alignment issue. Its there on all the bikes. Apparently its how the bike has been engineered. Sad but true.

Any update ? Weird that you are feeling vibrations on the seat and foot pegs. I felt some on handlebars and on fairing near knee area. Chain problem is solved with TVS putting a soft material roller which will although have lesser life.
