Rr310 having the same engine and fairing getting sold for 2.24 lacs and this one 2.99!
      Defies logic.
Should we pay more for technology or brand?

Apparently its the brand. G 310 should be atleast on par with RR with respect to pricing.

Clearly pricing is on higher side for "Made in India" tag. They are not looking for it to sell it like hot cakes as they don't have infrastructure in place to support after-sales services and to ruin their brand image in turn. They might be looking at 2 digit sales monthly and most of the sales from exported motorcycles. still it is up for grabs for those who want to afford a BMW tag and flaunt about it.

So compared to USA we get around 42000 INR discount on the street fighter version which is "made in India" by TVS, costs around 350000 INR in USA as per there official website.

R3 with twin cylinder, ABS and LED headlight costs the same and I was cursing yamaha and kawasaki for pricing there products way out of my reach.

Higher side pricing when we have competition like, R3, N300 and Apache310RR (same engine with lesser price) and do not forget KTM's pocket rockets

Well its a BMW, seems like they dont want everyone to buy it and only the "Elite" will probably get one.

Suzuki bosses were still realistic and did the correction realising their folly. I am surprised that despite seeing everything beforehand they still went with this pricing. Next 7-10 days, I am expecting lots of people to cancel their bookings.

I totally agree and I would request people not buy this over priced ___. I mean seriously, I don't care if it has a Lamborghini badge.

It is similar to that of premium car companies in EU selling underwear with its badge on it with exorbitant price.

Please guys don't support such companies or else more such madness will follow and tomorrow you my expect a Hero splendor with Bugatti badge selling for a 10 lakhs INR.

BMW must have their own good reasons for the launching price but I see a price cut within this year!
