Yes, they knew what they're paying for, but that's not their complaint. They paid for the exclusivity which they'll be losing.
They paid 80k more, only for a 500cc engine, instead of 350cc, while losing out on ABS... The design language being roughly the same, with minor differences.

Suppose, Audi makes a 12L car with a smaller 1.2L engine, and roughly the same design as earlier cars, won't the existing owners object?

We've seen both the engines before, and the price difference shouldn't be this much. Not to mention ABS.
I find it unfair as the customers pay 80k extra for the limited edition tag and then after few months, RE launches Signal models which look similar to the Pegasus in all manner except that the cheaper 350 signal comes with ABS for public. In other words, no limited numbers on sale. So a person riding the 350 signal in traffic might be looked up as a limited edition bike owner. Not that many know about it.

Lets not talk about 500cc blah blah bullshit. This should have been well thought of by RE.
They could have launched the 350 range of models with ABS and not look anything like the Pegasus to maintain the exclusivity of the product Atleast!

So apparently an owner has "allegedly" dumped his Pegasus at a garbage site. Theres only a picture, but to me it seems like a publicity stunt.

So I have a 2015 Desert Storm which has been my daily driver. Who can stop me if I want to repaint it to with the Pegasus insignia and the stenciled number on the tank. Will the existing P500 owners sue me ? Or is there something different in the RC book for which RTO can fine me?

As per many esteemed forum members I'm a RE poser boy any way , now I will be promoted to a fake RE poser boy.

See my friend, that is upto to get it repainted or not. But that isnt the question here. They pay a premium for the Limited Edition and then in few months, launch a cheaper similar looking 350 in a signal variant! What is so limited about the Limited Edition if you have the public riding the similar looking bike with an additional feature.

Anyways, it is none of my concern i dont have own any limited edition bike anyway.

Lolz, what a triggered little snowflake. Heights of entitlement!

Yes, throwing your property (which you waited like a juvenile in front of a computer to book for a supposedly limited edition motorcycle) in the garbage is gonna change RE?!

Yea, apparently the owners think that RE is comparable to Rolls Royce and that they might take serious action if Pegasus owners donated their bikes for garbage collection.

RE isnt even 1% of RR

RE is simply playing with the customer with paint schemes and customers are gullible enough to fall for a marketing gimmick called 'limited edition'.
What RE could probably do if they really cared in this case is to probably maybe recall the bikes and fit them with a different shaped tank and ABS and maybe throw in some accessories and free services.
Or better refund some money back to the customer or take back the bikes from those who want to give it up and refund them

don't even bring RR into this man
this is quackery at its best by RE.. milking the bullet brand to gullible customers.

The only thing Royal Enfield had going for itself was it's exclusivity and brand loyalty...

Seems they've been putting a lot of effort in recent years to destroy both [emoji23] may God bless the company and it's deeds
