hey .. even i support FI but come on man 64k for a 125 cc ?

and if your talking about indian mentality well they run on ''reserve''

and after hearing that it doesnt have reserve basic people who buy 125 cc segment bikes will opt out of it ..

@Sam92: I agree that the price could be an issue, no doubt about that.

However, numerous test reports of CBF125FI (Europe version) indicate that the top speed of this bike is on par with our 150cc motorcycles and this is very impressive. If an FI can make such a huge difference in the overall top speed of this bike then I believe its gonna be head to head with every 150cc bike in India barring only R15!! Let's hope that this becomes reality.

If that happens, the Stunner with FI will instantly turn into a highway munching motorcycle which many of us love to do!!! Not to mention that the fuel economy will increase on both highway and city riding. Its gonna cruise much better at high speeds than any 125cc bike we have and may be even better than some 150cc bikes too.

And considering that its already in European market for some time now, we can be assured its gonna be free of any niggles and will work flawlessly.

Now how many think that all this can justify its price, that will be left for Honda to see!!

I've exactly the same reaction for the price. Man, this ex-showroom price is more than Unicorn's(one of the best though old 150cc bikes around) on road price in Bangalore(which has max taxes). This is price is almost same as Yamaha FZ 16 and RTR FI which cost us(in bangalore) 75k and a 125 CC bike at >65k should is not acceptable to me unless it is yamaha yzf125r or honda cbr125r. I think Honda is also following Yamaha way to make juice their cash cow as much as possible. Really This bike @75k and FZ-S 80 and Fazer150 at 82k .. are most over priced bikes and I don't deny the technologies provided in these bikes. But they should also look at the competitor's prices. These all were my personal opinions, no brand war .. PEACE PEACE.

And over all Honda and Yamaha both are able to sell these bikes, so who the hell I am to say them overpriced. All these can be very premature if this bikes comes out to be anything close to cbr125r in performance (am I dreaming, sure I am )-- so waiting for the test ride .

FYI: I really like Honda/Yamaha for their engineering.

I think it makes sense. Atleast the companies have started to look in to the tech features and "better" products. Since Stunner the most popular one in 125CC category then it surely makes sense. Why cannot we have some technology in daily commuting bikes. A FI vehicle will always have a better feel than the carb ones.

Biking culture is finally taking a change. Its not that suddenly a manufacturer will produce a super 600CC or liter class in the price of desi ones. I am only happy to see that companies have started to take things a little seriously. Not just about Stunner but in general. Its good that Bajaj and Yamaha or Honda are fighting for their sales. Better! End of the day the consumer is benifitted with end product.
Lets face it! A common man cannot buy an imported (or similarly priced) sport/cruise bike coz the companies cannot sell it at affordable price. So if the quality of present bikes are improved, its a good sign.

Ok, a lot of lecture! I should run now.

Yes, by better ride quality I meant that the throttle response will be smoother with FI hence acceleration should be jerk free giving a feeling of better rideability in different conditions...just like the difference in rideability of RTR FI & carb RTR!

Getting PGM FI from Honda is great news, except for the insane 14k increase in price, if it is true. It would be a flop if Honda's targeted section is commuting.

I guess Honda may not be looking at volumes with this product. May be they wanted to taste the people how thier PGM FI is superior.

Request to Honda, please give the technology to HH to use it in Karizma.

Good news!!! that means I can now import a CBF125 to UK and can still save loads of money even after paying 6% import tax.

Has anyone done that before with any kind of bike?

Of course we welcome new tech in our bikes but 14k is little bit on higher side.

I was thinking if this is priced 14k higher than carb version then what would be the price of soon to launch 150????
