This kinda competition shud b there in the upper segment as well.
200 cc shud b the segment where they shud b concentrating on now.
I am no business expert but i think that's wht this country wants now.

I doubt if that will be the case ashu.Companies will still concentrate on
high economy models as they are the breadwinners coz of higher economies of
scale [mass prodn]. Indian Market is going the way which US car market did earlier in
this century.Companies made mass prodn cars and to keep the excitement about the company
alive,came out with limited models which participatd in Races and did amazing 0-100 or such
other exciting things.

yeah,instead of lookn 4 200cc+ bikes,indian companies r concentrating on R & D of bikes which give a mileage of 120+ under std. conditions.

now that's good it will give something to herohonda andi can bet upon herohonda is'nt sitting idle
they might be working on some new bike or something but as far as ithink they were busy in honda 150cc ,,,, just wait till this unicorn launches and u can easily see how the total two wheel market changes ---

but hh still leads in exports and splendor's sales.the position of the hh is still stable.so if 1.5 ct100 is sold its not a big deal coz they r giving away the ct100 at as low as 1000rs down payment!

HH has also lowered down the price of its top end bike as it is not doing well in the market. Moreover I have test rode CT 100, it is a fantastic bike with lots of power and mileage
