Classic CBZ is dead. The new one CBZ star looks crap and it will be sandwitched by Honda Unicorn, Pulsar and Fiero.

Not I don;t think so . Visiting HH showrooms often I speak to guys with CBZ's . It may no swamp the markets like P150 but this bike has a loyal fan following . CBZ* sales are rebounding - I've seen quite few new CBZ*'s - they still didn't want the PulsarDTSI .

And old soldiers never die an ungraceful death !

                yeah ..
even dtsi's feedback is ain't good ,, so many of my frnds have ditsy both 150 and 180 ..

it is nowhere in comparisons to classics ,[^]
and as ricci said cbz star is'nt going down it' sales are rebounding in not the same numbers as p150's but still it is selling more than B4...[]

but still Applause for Bajaj and a ct 100 the bike which has lot's of power

What do you mean by the 'classics' ?. If u r referring to the classic Pulsars, y do u feel that the 'classics' r better than the Dtsi?

ya i meam classiscs my frnd ...though nothing -ive for pulsars but dtsi lacks the grunt punch ,refinment of classic , and most importatntly engine harshness is more in ditsi....so
that's why i said the above thing...

But 2 of my friends have DTSi (both 150) and both r highly satisfied. Previously one used to ride RX135 and the other Splendor. Both says that DTSi is much superior to their previous two bikes

200,000 DTSis on the road now...saw it in some ad..
Greater overall custromer satisfaction I tell u...than any other bike I have seen. Every person who has a ditsy on the road (& who ever I ask) seems quite happy with his machine...its a diff thing how they keep their bikes....wish ppl could learn a little more abt caring.

200,000 dtsi's...even i saw that...and that's only because P150dtsi is selling like hot cakes and 180dtsi isn't selling much (atleast in Delhi). Honestly, i see more new ZMA's on the road than the 180dtsi especially after the price cut. 180dtsi doesn't seem to be selling much i believe in Delhi...one of the major reasons for that i think is the exact same styling of both p150 and 180...more power n better performance from 180dtsi doesn't seem to be attracting customers n hence most of the people go for 150dtsi (looks same as 180dtsi n gives more mileage), that's right this is what matters most for majority of indian customers...it would have been better if 180dtsi looked different from 150dtsi.
Lately i have seen more ZMA's in my office parking than the 180dtsi...i think people are now accepting ZMA as its now more affordable and is very exclusive, right??

yep cutting of the price of ZMA has made people think twice as there is not much diff of pricing btween 180 and ZMA so ppl prefer more stylish and better power bike

Well, whatever works for a company.
HH is mkt leader cos of splendors and passions. I guess BAL can be proud of leading the segment with the pulsars!...I think thats a better segment to lead in.
Anyway, still have to see more zmas than the 180DTSis ...the price cut ofcourse ahs made the diff only abt 10k...I guess sales should pick up but well, it again comes down to one's own tastes!...u dont like a bike (comparitively ie), u dont take it. Its that simple.
I personally love the neo-retro styling of the classic pulsars as also the smaller wheelbase...havent sat on a more sharp handler than them as yet. Maybe a Buell lightning!!! ..hehehehe...
