HH is mkt leader cos of splendors and passions. I guess BAL can be proud of leading the segment with the pulsars!...I think thats a better segment to lead in.
BAL is also leading the lower end commuter segment with its latest launch CT100 and a gold color stickered variant of CT100 which even has a front fairing

so u get a bike from BAL that is as cheap as CD Dawn and looks are comparable to splendor to say the least
here in mangalore i only see pulsars and CT100 s

personally even i wud prefer ct100 to splendor, passion and victor or even caliber because of it s practicality of daily use as these bikes r for daily commuting and u wont go 120 speeds on these

if u want a powerful bike then u have to spare some money go for bigger ones

well these r my personal opinions and not intended to offend any bike

That's right techno...being a ZMA ownwer i am really happy to see more ZMA's on the road.

And yes! the kind of performance p180DTSi delivers, it certainly should have been given distinguished looks.

what is the strength of bajaj although: and the answer is their "store and inventory", they can always "mix-n-match" and come up with a new ct,dt,gt,vt ..(did I miss something else). But YES, they got the pulse of the market and this is what is important.
Just look at their ads man, every one of them is gr8. HH needs to learn alot in that domain perhaps.

In all honesty, I'm kinda irritated with the no. of Zmas now on the road. One of the biggest reasons for me getting the bike was because of its exclusivity.... The Zma still is and it still does gather attention but that has kinda diminished after the price cut.

I think bajaj is a fine example of a global indian company. They may have been slow to respond to HH during the 90s and early 2000s, but now they are striking back in every segment with an unparalled ferocity. They OWN and i mean OWN the 150cc market. Their CT-100 is a major hit in the segment ruled by Splendour.

BUT, the arrival of Honda and Suzukit independently in the market means a major shift for bajaj. These players have the global resources and techllogy to effeftively compete with them, They will both view bajaj as a rising threat in the next decade and will try to out-gun bajaj in every segment. so they have a tough fight on their hands.

sure thing, do something BAL, LML and Kinetic to rev up the competition.

Anyways, whosoever wins, we have got nothing to loose, everything to gain out of it...

well bajaj has been planning to overtake HH in sales from 5 yeras and today it happened.kudos to them bcoz the products they made are good and not mere make up of antique engines.HH lost it game bcoz honda want to make big in india and wants to go on its own.it may not split in near future(up to 2010) but honda will be making more bikes than HH before they either take over them or sideline them
