Well as the people above mentioned, the RTR has more torque and has its power band is in a much lower rpm range than the R15. My cousin at present rides a 5 speed RX,and if he was to get impressed with the 180,you do the math!

But seriously is the accelaration really better than the R15 ?? maybe, considering they have the same power at the crank !! But I'd reckon, that with having a better grar box, yamaha might be making more power at the wheel !!
the R15 is too peaky while the RTR has power all over the rev-band so it feels faster and is pleasure to ride

My cousin had accompanied me and he was so impressed by the bike that he booked the Pearl White one on the spot! In fact he's mostly getting the bike tomorrow as he went for the full cash option!

    One Hell Of A Machine

I took the Apache RTR 180 for a spin, IMO this bike can do little touring rather than city riding(not commute)

As far the mileage expected 40 said by RAMKAY TVS

Three colours available White,Grey & Black. The Yellow colour comes after 2 months

Last but not least Apache RTR 180 FI won't come this year & Apache RTR 160 FI Production Won't Be Stopped

Ditto here, but I prefer my own reviews
Sadly, the bike hasnt got the RTO clearance from Maharashtra yet.... I have been pestering the TVS guys for it ....

They say it will take another 2 weeks! Sigh, till then rely on what goes here.... *and silently hope that the first lot gets sold ASAP*
PS: ASAP = As Soon in Andhra Pradesh

Not to mention the lack of a rev limiter. It revs all the way till 12000 rpm.

And no,i dont have an RTR Just posting my experiences wit it

Oh yeah,go ahead post reviews from OD , RTR owners will enjoy reading it

FYI i love the RTR except for those jarring vibes
Are you 100%-absolutely-positively-confident that you dont have an RTR
I mean you post so much on the Ownership thread and everywhere there is the slightest fart of the RTR .... just makes me wonder! I am sure you have one and hide it somewhere
Heck! I HAVE a RTR and I DONT post so much!!!!!

@Aparjith: The longer swing arm might be the answer to your prayers.... but the RTRs were always supposed to be insane in the gearings na

Lolz you post so much on the RTR related threads, that at times I wonder if you have a RTR hidden in your house

Satishs, ride was a small short ride at a SVC where the bike was not even setup and tuned!!! (thanks to a overtly impatient Satish )
