    Exactly.

AFAIK, Apache 180RTR implements a longer stroke than 160RTR, and therefore to retain the revvy nature of the bike along the gears, it has been short geared.
My bad. I got confused. Looks like it will be terribly short geared.

smaller dia tyre means lower gearing... more teeth in sproket means shorter gearing (am i right?).. so in effect A180 shorter gearing if its using the same gearbox ratios... right?

    Vibration

I read in some forum that the suzuki gs150R engine too had some vibration problem and they did it with some rubber damber insulate the engine vibration from passing to the chassis if its true why TVS is not doing this, have any one of you tried this. Most of the friends here have the major problem is of its vibration..

Suzuki GS150R’s Engine balancer Technology seeks to minimize such vibration order to deliver a more comfortable riding experience. Moreover the balancer system is equipped with balancer-driven gear fitted with a rubber damber for reducing the impact noises generated by its meshing with the balancer-driver gear. A rubber damper and spring are installed inside the balancer-driven gear.

The rear fender of the bike is real sexyy... loved its white colour and 110 section tyre.. I think thats a wise move from TVS to put a 110 section tyre since it gives enough contact, style and economy to the bike.

wonder why the rear rim/tyre size is reduced from 18" of the rtr 169 to 17"..?
This was to retain the short gearing.

Better throttle response, easy cold startability, smoother engine/lesser vibrations could be considered as reasons to go for the Fi tech.
Still people buy a Passion Pro for 50k where as Shine and Platina 125 are available for 45k OTR.
    HH fuel efficiency
