Good choice - I think it suits your requirements . Its a great bike for city use. Loved the revs, ride quality and handling. I did not feel any vibrations during my short ride. It is not very comfortable for tall guys.
Now there is the confusion, I test rode a grey one and U rode a white one so I guess they use all bikes for test rides but then i guess its fine. Unless someone hasnt crashed it I think its okay to go ahead as long as it looks in good shape. I am taking a white one, delivery today
Did u ride it on the broken road next to the showroom? I was pretty impressed with the shockers, they really absorbed the bad road very well.
BTW u on TeamB? Name seemed familiar so just asked.

    Indian Apache

    TVS is making great Strides...

Guess what...The Indian Apache is heading towords USA....

TVS Motor will launch its premium 160cc bike Apache RTR in the US this year,
The Chennai-based two-wheeler company has cleared the mandatory technical and emission tests for its bikes.

TVS Motor president (marketing & sales) HS Goindi

“We are in the launching mode, and finalising our entry into the US market. Our bike has met all stringent technical norms in the US and we have also appointed distributor to sell our products in the market.” The company will launch our advanced fuel injection Apache in the US. We have tweaked the product we already sell in India with some minor changes to meet the US automotive standards.”

According to an auto industry executive, TVS has held negotiations with Classic Motorworks, an importer and distributor of two-wheeler in the US.

(sorry guys searched but couldnt find one, maybe it should be parked.) The TVS guy on the inner ring road I checked says he can give me the bike on the same day, (color : grey on monday) with the number on tuesday? He also said he has 2 whites available for immediate delivery. DO i trust him n go ahead?

^^ Thanks Saurabh. I took the test ride on the Grey and the color i want is the same as well. This guy had a diff test bike as well but because the colors of both are same just wanted to be careful. Will check out other showrooms as well if I can, else see what happens on monday.

Don't know the exact answer, but:

    - Go for the white as they are not giving those for test rides as far as I know. In general, going for a unique color helps in this case.
    - Go for the showrooms which have test bikes separate - there you may be able to detect test bike either by looks or just note the engine or chassis number for the test bike . I know, at least, Meghdooth(MG Rd) has separate test bikes and Gupta Motors doesn't.

The pro kit seems to be interesting. Waiting to see it on road.

true, but i dunno if the stock back drum on the RTR refresh can cope with the increased power, i hope that it will be able to. The kit should be a MONSTER on the fi and 180 though, that i can surely say . The only thing i didnt like about the kit was the exhaust, i rather like the stock one
