    18 years is the legal age for ungeared/geared bikes above 50cc.

    16 years in the legal age for sub 50cc ungeared bikes.

    this applies for every state in this country.

    anything otherwise... is bending/breaking the law.

      I'm 2 months away from 18. So should i get a learner's license and go to a Driving school now?

        you need a Learners License to ride/drive at a driving school.

        you need to be 18 to get a Learners License.

        so no... legally you need to wait till you complete 18.

          errrr... he doesn't need to wait until he complete 18. If he waits until he completes 18, he'll become 19 the next day . So he should go ahead and apply for learners license as soon as be becomes 18.

            he completed 1 year on his 1st birthday.

            he'll complete 18 on his 18th birthday.

            so... he can apply for his learner DL on his 18th birthday or after.
