Does technicality ONLY includes replacement of FI system by the Carb???

if that is so, Fi is considered to be superior to Carbs. Still how was Bajaj able to come up with figures better than the Fi version????

it would have been appropriate to say that P220 dtsi was a technical degradation if the performance figures were poor than the Fi (ofcourse at the low cost)

IMO, the new P220 dtsi shows how poorly were the Engine internals designed on the original P220 dts-fi as the new carbed version is makin more power than the Fuel Injected Version

well i was also reluctant on thinking it to be a zma

but close observation made me think the body and the shape is probably like a zma only

and a strange thing i saw is the the suspension is kinda bent in the middle
i dont know why the pic clicked was not clear...

Bajaj was playing the same game which Honda played in the 150cc segment...!

Honda - ZMA
Yamaha - R15
Bajaj - P200 + P220

Now count the number of premium bajajs on the road.....you might get an answer...!

Anyways, coming to the topic.. it doesnt even matter what Honda does to this bike.....it will be priced above cloud 9....

Substantiating my claim, take for instance Stunner FI
it has nothing great (apart from a lovely FI) not even a tacho...

and yet its priced at 74-75k on road
I mean imagine a 125 11 odd bhp regular FI machine at 75 ks

......than what will be the price of this bike, if this happens to be an upgraded, FI-ed, liquid cooled etc etc.....!

PS: By 'upgrade', i mean the literal defination in oxfords...and not Hondas...!

Unlike, I'd love to see it from HH only, their after sales rock anytime!!!

.. btw, R15 has a better back-up than then after-sales service of the P220 when it was launched almost 2 years ago and just going on road counts of ZMA, P220 and R15.. i see more P220s in corporate areas in Andheri (East) than any ZMA or the R15.

I just hope we have a proper upgrade , with better lights , tyres brakes and horn.More refinement and power with FI and I am very happy.

P>S Price should not be 10 k more than the current lot of Zma's

all the highlighted ones are enough I guess, atleast for Me.
FI is not a compulsion/important though, it isnt living upto its HYPED status, made by some tourers. People here, even the owners of P220 DtsFI are more excited about the new 2009 P220 Dtsi.
So I dont think its much of a need (as I dont care about the average much

) + FI will increase the price by atleast 8k-10k more & people will be cursing HH for again making a 1 lac'd ZMA, totally ignoring FI & its imporatnce.

So better to tune Engine & a few small features much in need + A new design, dats all
