why dont they come up with 250 and above people dont mind paying good money if they get good stuff

i am sure that suzuki will launch its GN and EN models in the 125cc segment.

When it comes to cars man look at the choice.....cars ranging from 2 1/2 lakhs to 5 crores.......and when it comes to bikes there is nothing.I know that they are targeting a specific group of people.......but there should be more choice for bikers too......When it comes to buying a bike what r the choices we have.......pulsar,karizma,...???? comet....if you can get one......nothing else......sad

I do remember i had got a E-mail from KINETIC (arnd July 04), that they are going to launch series of international bikes in near future.
The first bike is COMET 250.
Wonder what they will launch next.BTW i really think KINETIC is boldest amng BAJAJ/YAMAHA(for sure)/HH/TVS.
They have gone atleast few steps ahead by launching real bikes ( altough only two)
1st real cruiser in INDIA:AQUILA[:P]
1st real sportsbike : COMET 250[:P]
also what sucks bigtime is the kind of service they offer{no doubt every other cmpny here give same C class service).

Now to the topic.FU(K those FU(KERS who are still thinking abt launching 125s'.
What the hell r they thinking. We all should mailbomb them that we want a 200++ cc bike & not another deep $hit. together by arnd 4191 mails they may get convinced to give atleast some 200CC 25BHP bike.my wish !!

yeah v r right guys. but a company cant directly launch a 250cc bike.
first they build their market and then they think of improving that. that how they r gonna earn.

but we really need a 25+ or more bhp bike.

Why do you think all the international bike companies are flooding to india? Because its one of the biggest two wheeler markets in the world!!! All these companies want a nice big slice of the market pie.

Suppose they introduce a 250cc sports bike at 1.5 lacs. Considering the average income in India, maybe they will sell abt 5000 bikes a year at most. Income is : 1.5x5000= 60 crores.

But if they come out with a top quality machine in the 125 or 150cc, 50K range, they can sell at least 100000 per year. That's 100000x0.5 = 500 crores!!!

PLUS they now have 100000 bikes on the road, bearing their logo and advertising the brand.

I know you've heard these views a million times. But I am one of those people you hate. I am a commuter, who would rather have a 125cc bike that gives me 50+kpl than any of the SBKs.

Bajaj sells 20000 pulsars every month. How many do you think will cross 100kph even once in their lifetime? Why do you think 150s sell so much more than the 180s anyway? I just booked a pulsar 150. I didnt choose it because I couldn't afford to buy a p180 or the ZMA, I chose it bcoz I cant afford to RUN them. I ride my bike 50km each day to college and back. I need a bike that can cover that distance with a litre of fuel or less. And I am not alone. I know a ton of 150 buyers who said "Man i woulda bought the 180/ZMA. But the mileage..."

So, in the end, while i am disappointed that Suzuki will not be launching a 150+ bike, i am definitely NOT disappointed that they will not be launching another 200+ bike. I am not against high performance bikes per se, but i'm afraid i need the low running costs. So do a million others.

So if Suzuki launches a 250cc 30bhp bike that gives 50kpl, (I dunno, maybe a quadri-spark fuel injected, supercharged, ceramic coated thing using alien technology) and sells it at 65000, rest assured i'll buy it.

But dreams aside, all i wish from suzuki is a sub 200cc bike that comes with the smoothness and the seamless power Suzukis are famous for, as well as reasonable fuel efficiency.

P.S : OH, AND KILLER LOOKS TOO!!!

stop day dreaming buddy 250cc 30 bhp in jst rs:65000 ... i think u might have to add some 30k more to it..
anyways lets keep hopes alive but mostly they r cuming up wid 125cc and 150cc bike as of now.
