Really hope that this sighting is not followed by another endless period of indecision and waiting from Bajaj. They have tempted us so many times already. Am hoping that this is the final deal.

i don't know, is it just me or does it seem a little strange, Bajaj, the ones who make all the hullabaloo about being the fastest and making statements and then going back on them, and all of sudden they put a Ninja in the showroom, i think its just a display piece they had lying here in their yard. And what is it with the 3 Lakh price, i think Bajaj has shot itself in the foot if its true.

This might be the slowest of the japanese, but the fastest in India!!

I agree price close to 300K would be something that i was not expecting.
however are they getting it in CBU or CKD format
CKD would save on some cost

We are supposed to be getting the bike from Thailand as per a few of the reports earlier, and for a bike that costs nearly 150K Baht there which is rougly 220K INR, I am pretty sure with all the custom duties and taxes India has this Baby Ninja would easily be priced over the 275K INR mark....

All I am saying is don't keep any hopes of this being a sub 250K INR bike...

Humm. Positive signs in indian market. But bajaj has lost one customer due to its prolonged wait period. I couldn't buy another bike for now, when my garage already holds two bikes. Let the initial lots roll out, but who knows, my R15 could come for sale.:-)
