  • i just finished reading the article....

On the positive side: the bikes looking good, looks are subjective again.. hope the f-i gives a crisp throttle response, great to see the kick finally kicked out! The rear looks different and the rear disc is a welcome addition. The clip ons are awesome and so is the digital console. I hope all this is carried forward on the ZMA classic.

Waiting for the official track tests n all..

im from Hyd, just checked landmark (Rd 12,bHills) and some other stores, no sign of the book.. anyone from Hyd who found a copy?

on a different note, i was imagining the bike without the faring, a round headlight (probably HID) and everything else remaining the same.. it would look cool on streets like that with those tall clip-ons or maybe it would look out of proportion.. hmm where is my paintbrush now!

Please do let us know if you were able to get one in Hyd.

The Bike magazine takes 2-4 days more to reach Hyderabad stalls.

The ZMA R would continue on sale. That was told twice since this noon in the same thread.

            The ZMR has been launched.

                • I take my words back!

The bike is not too bad as many of us concluded in earlier posts.May be it was because of the bad camera quality.Though the front still lacks the gut older karizma had.

Secondly, the bike has gained a lot of weight-159kg is just too much.I am not yet sure if it could acclerate as fast as HH claimed!..
If you ride like there's no tomorrow...worry not there won't be!

                              1. Older styling is 6+ years old, the new styling will grow on and will be OK after a while....the styling is fresh and is different from the older one, something good from HH, which didn't do re-stickering !!
                              2. Above all... let it accelerate at it's own pace !!

                              • some details of the new ZMR

Hero Honda has launched the revamped version of its performance motorcycle, the Karizma ZMR. Introduced at a price of Rs 91,000 ex-showroom Delhi, the new bike will go up against the likes of other performance bikes in the Indian market such as the Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTSi and the Yamaha YZF-R15.

Hero Honda has ensured that the new
bike is not just a cosmetic upgrade, but the changes in the exteriors and the design are major and will establish the Karizma ZMR as an all-new bike. The ZMR now features a full fairing that clads the entire engine to pronounce the big-bike feel. Redesigned rear quarter panels and an all new LED taillamp round up the design changes on the new bike.
The engine sees a mild power upgrade from 16.8PS to 17.6PS, but now features fuel-injection that replaces the carburetor. Taking a cue from its competitors, the new bike has also been fitted with an oil-cooler, which should take some of the heat off the completely clad yet air-cooled engine.
