Heard load will be coming tomorrow from an inside, but they concerned people are denying this. My waiting period ended yesterday and when called they are saying it will take another month to deliver my Dio.

That guy will call me tomorrow if the load comes and I will go and make scene and somehow get mine.

Dealers making use of this strike and selling Hondas for premium price belonging to unsuspecting buyers who are in waiting list. Seen lots of newly registered Activas and Stunners and dealer is still claiming no loads have arrived in last 30 days.

It was a pretty exhaustive case ( 20+ pages) & after hours of discussions we realized that Honda people from Japan were not sensitive to cultural differences that exist between the two environments. there were small things like Japanese shop floor supervisor walking with a big stick in his hand, pointing it at workers & sometimes using his legs to point at workers. They may be acceptable in Japan but a strict no here.

There is a lack of fundamental trust at Honda
Taking unions in a negative light is not correct.
Workers are weak & might be exploited by management. In such cases, union provides solace. Unless there is a culture of trust & respect within the organization, unions are needed
This come from an MBA student at IIMA who would mostly be facing the union in future
Heard this kind of stuff from friend of mine (his cousin works for HMSI), it's exactly opposite in neighbouring HH/MarutiSuzuki factories it seems.

Why this attitude only in HMSI ? Even dealers also behave like they are super humans (heard some dealers increase waiting time if you are not opting for std. extra accessories, some dealers make it compulsary to buy accessories which rust in 6 months.......I have seen women Activa owners who had come to leave their scooter for svc. were asked to leave and come tomorrow, just b'cos svc center has accepted 'full' load of 40 vehicles at svc centre, why not 60 ? why sell in thousands and refuse basic svc to customers......

HMSI is good today b'cos it was built by it's employees and patroned by general public, HMSI should value people first (always) then comes other things.
If HMSI cannot value people then it's better to shut down and get out, the suggestion coming from a Honda lover !!!

100% true. This is what I feel right from the day when they launched the Honda City at a higher price point than the Mitsubushi Lancer in India whereas in other Asian countries & in Australia the Lancer costs more than the City.

I wish that they start respecting Indian Culture and market their items at the correct rate.
That will take a lot of time.

Honda leaving India is all BS. India is too lucrative a market for Honda to leave. India is the only country where they are showing good growth.

Exactly the same questions I asked the one who told me this.
I'll try to get the name of the dealer. just to make sure.
about the 45 days it's true because the guy went ahead and bought a p180

Today i went to the Honda service centre.Went to their showroom first. The showroom had a deserted look.Their front lot used to be full with new bikes waiting for delivery or registration. Not a single new bike was present.

Relevant piece of information and more importantly its very reassuring to know that our future managers can think beyond excel sheets

Nice break from the one sided BS so far. Its funny how everybody assumes ONLY workers are to be blamed. And whats funnier is the terminology we choose to evolve. "labour unrest" huh Why not "labour mismanagement"?
