Two years back they launched the xcd with so much of hype, claiming that it is a 125 cc bike with 150 cc looks and 100 cc mileage. And now they have discontinued it. Don't know what Bajaj is upto?

this is wat happens when there is a platina 100cc, discover 125, discover 135, disocover 110,xcd 125, xcd135, platina 125...they had a crowded product portfolio in here 100 to 125/135....so they cleaning it up..and the way they stopped p200 ..this doesnt come as a surprise....

one thing i hate about bajaj's strategy is, they give out all goodies to ALL their bikes. what exclusivity(in terms of these 'features') do i get for paying 35-40 grand more than my neighbor, who has a similar lcd display, all-black styling, the same old twin spark and exhaustec, etc on his XCD?

and its about time manufacturers stopped attending the 'higher cc=more fun; lower cc=commuters only' class.

Bajaj to use bike, 3-wheeler parts in $2,500 car- Automobiles-Auto-News By Industry-News-The Economic Times

Bajaj says it will be using bike and autorickshaw parts (about 75%) on their debut car !!! So we can see XCD125 running in 2012 in the form of car

                    Hi to all.
I have been driving XCD 125 for the past 2 years. It was the third XCD in my area as it was from the first lot. I know how good this bike is. Soon after my bike's first service, I had a drag race with Discover 125(Black) and I won with a long ratio. I have burnt the rubber for 24000kms. For the past 3 months I drive 100kms a day and then also no problem from her end. I had a bad experience with Bajaj's servicing though, so never took the free services after the first one. Always had faith on Castrol Bike Zone. Had 2 severe accidents with the same bike, but then also its running smoothly.

So in my opinion, being a small bike doesnt mean its small. It can run fast too. Have touched 98km/hr (uphill) and 104km/hr (downhill) and its still stock except the battery and the horn. I still race,do wheelie and burnout and it never complained.

                    I just love it...

Feeling sad that its reign is over....

well, it seems like these kinda threads are always haunted by anti-bajaj guyz

hmm, that is bound to happen, they release somany bikes without much difference, and atlast one has to ditched...for the sake of p220 dtsi they ditched p200,and now for xcd135 ..xcd125 sacrificed,
                      whts next bajaj?

After the launch of the P135, I guess they will be phasing out the XCD 135. So no more XCDs. Or maybe they are planning to launch a XCD 150.
