I wrote, at top speed, means at 400 kmph. At this speed, it is very much possible that the 8L engine consumes all of the 100L fuel in 55 sec.

yes ravi, I did read your first post patiently but as i said, I didn't make this car neither I am buying it (or should I say I can't afford it), so let others discuss it here too.

at 407kmph it travels 6.7km per minute. if 100Ltrs of fuel is consumed in 55secs at top speed then is the mileage is 61mtrs per litre?

Am sure its should be an error.

Am waiting to see the 1st accident/insurance bill of this car if it ever makes it to india

From what I have heard and read is:

At Top Speed, Tyres last for 15 mins and fuel for 12 Mins.

To pull 1888kg mass at 400kmph is not an easy job. It needs lots and lots of energy. Remember it has 1001 ps, 1250nM of torque. As the speeds increase, it needs more and more engery to pull the mass than at regular speeds.

im not sure , Veyrons arent made RHD .and i guess left hand cars are not allowed .

but is'nt 61mtrs to a litre too much? I think a Train engine is almost equal to or more than its power ( i meant torque and mass) and it gives a better avg.

Well I would prefer buying a Hayabusa to the Veyron in India. Whats the use in having a machine that would generate enormous bills right from its presence in my garage???? Every cyclewala would mistake it for scratching and every errant two wheeler wud handle in the RVMs to give it a complex.And with the amount of cattle out in the Highways and Expressways it wud never reach its top widout killing some and lets forget to use it in the city as the petrol bills wud have have the income tax department of the Government check my black,white,bribe and every type of money while at the same time it wud burn pockets every other day and at the end I may be wearing a torn trouser like a beggar begging out in the road.

So I wud suggest goin for the Fastest production bike at a much lesser or no trouble relatively rather than the Fastest production car.Atleast I wud get to see the 400+kmph speeds and die peacefully widout leaving unpaid bills
