they want the volumes, and if there is anything that they can learn from HH, is that if it aint broke, then dont fix it. A testament to that are the spendor and passion series that just dont stop selling. So from a business point of view, they are doing the right thing.. From a customers angle... they can call it whatever they want,

After what they showcased at the expo, and showing this, man its sad...

The price increase of Rs 2000 has it's share from the increase in taxes too. As such, I don't understand why Honda keeps jacking up the prices!!!

the viscous filter was similaly added to the activa some time ago and the model was not changed.. guess they had to show something to the pubic that is new.. and yes the old uni was code named CBF 150

            Downright frustrating now!

It is now simply frustrating to read this kind of news from Honda. The Unicorn is an excellent bike that just needs some updates to improve its image quotient and fun element. I am really saddened that Honda is treating the Unicorn so badly.

This is very frustrating... I sold my Pulsar last year in July dus to some problems in the bike and thought would buy a Unicorn...
Then got the news that Honda is going to launch an upgraded version of the same and then came the pics in the Auto expo, I was like
I said to myself " Its worth the wait " ...I waited for 8 months since I sold my bike for the new unicorn and what I get is
Would anyone be able to give me an approximate launch date for the new Unicorn Sports concept which was shown in the Auto expo pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeee .... I am really

it still sells like hot cakes...they might not want to repeat the same honda activa issue which they faced after stopping production of activa and launched the aviator.people used to walk out of the showrooms and didnt even see the specs of aviator.its not the company to be blamed....its the thinking of people.

sorry company IS to blame. i see it in the malls, on the TV, in the movies, India has got young "spenders" Honda has to keep the fun in Biking. however commutrish ( yeah i know) the scene may be, it's bikes man! at least spice up the looks a bit. no point made in a filter. Honda mark my words, you gonna shed some bitter tears here.

Chill guys! Honda is definitely going to launch the Sports Unicorn soon. This step is not an upgrade.

Honda never stopped production of Activa. Aviator is aimed at a different class of people and it succeeded well. Though the initial reaction is negative for Aviator, later it was understood that it is a class above Activa in handling with telescopics and 12 inch front wheel with spacious riding position. Now it is selling in good numbers.

With the 4-stroke, 150cc engine delivering a whooping 13.3 bhp, CB Unicorn is the fastest motorcycle in India racing from 0 to 60 kms* per hour in a mere 5 seconds

This is what the honda website claims isnt that false isnt the P150 P135 faster in 0 - 60 compared to unicorn. All fake my god

Those words are from stone age, when they launched Unicorn.
Even the HH website claims Karizma goes from 0 to 60 in 3.8 sec, and no tester was able to achive those figures.

And Bajaj claims the P135 to be the Fastest Indian and the ad is allover india.

                        All marketing gimmicks.

Honda will be discontinuing the UNICORN soon and will launch a new bike, he's just clearing the pieces by painting them good, as nothing changed in the UNICORN in all those years except the alloys and 100 section rear tyre.

a decent facelift would have done wonders...n all we get is the same bike which was always a CB...it is selling well, agreed. But they need to cater to higher segments which has tons of buyers provided they have the right product...

The Sportz unicorn will probably be sold side by side with the current one. this was just to make the current one bsiii compatible. however this probably hints at an upgraded mill for the sportz version.
