something .. also Dazzler doen't sound that sporty as stunner or twister..guess this will be wat the stunner is to shine.. any specs as of now??

When there are lots of options available to name a bike,,, Why to name a girly thing to a bike....

Dazzler is an Name of some Girls Makeup Stuff,,,,, I thought Honda is releasing an Scootress with this name...

As long as engine specs remains the same, a REVamp is not worth at all to this UNICORN. Nobody, or atleast me needs rear disc brakes in a 150cc bike. No need at all, They need to upgrade the engine specs.
It's really unfortunate to see some of the FASTEST SBK manufacturer to go at such a low pace (crawling) in upgrading it's engine's.

But you're not getting Honda's point. One simple question: WHY?

Why should they bring a bigger engine? Absolutely not needed. Let the competitors stir a bigger displacement segment, and if Honda's studies shows meaty profits, then perhaps you can expect a bigger bike.

The dazzler, for example. People cribbed for the Unicorn to be upgraded, did Honda do it? No! Not until Yamaha showed them a 150cc bike could cost upwards of 70,000 and sell in assembly line smashing numbers...

So here's Honda's 70,000 buck bike. Hope their market study is accurate. Neither is there a 140 section tire, nor meaty forks. Neither is the Unicorn a performance oriented 150.
                        You get the point?? :D

Think from the point of avg motorcyclists... all they need is gud luking to be called sports bike.. which can easily touch 70 kmph in city conditions.[remember real perf enthus and tourers account to very less % in india, 80% are avg income holders for whom mileage matters a lot and perf is the last thing they luk at, we also lack in good roads without which a 250 or 350 will be waste ] which these bikes can easily do. any 150cc bike with super looks can be the selling point in india.. but i would luv to see a pure perf oriented bikes in the line of R15 ..from bajaj which shld be super light and out and out sprty luking one.. p220 does this but l like to see a diff luking bike

I was talking about tweaking the engine of unicorn to churn out some more power. If this is what people call an UPGRADE(nothing in engine and cosmetic only, for 70,000Rs), then i am happy being a customer of Bajaj.

I never talked about upgrading the DISPLACEMENT, I only wrote that this engine should have been tweaked some more to give a larger output of 1-2ps greater than current one. A commuter bike is not only one which has good torque, but it should also be rightly priced. And this Unicorn with a 70,000Rs tag with it. Now! Do You Call That A Commuter Segment. A 70,000 segment is not a commuter(only) segment. I think Unicorn's mileage is still between 55-60kmpl which is not great at all. My 180cc Pulsar gives me 50kmpl and once it gave 56kmpl with a showroom price of 65K(approx)Rs.

Honda wants to spice up the age old 150 it has, so even if it wont be upgrading the engine, still it will be doing very good in numbers, like evry HH bike does, old wine new bottle.

That's because you ride a 180CC bike like a 100CC, strictly following the milage rules not revving it and sticking to the best "average" RPM area.
the overall milage that is combined of city and highway riding of PULSAR 180 is between 40-45kmpl.

According to the average kind of riding one can extract 65-70kmpl with right tuning and driving style from the new unicorn.
