Hi Neel, thanks! Where are you from? Well, the idea about Kolkata showrooms is definitely good, but I avoid it for some personal reasons... Yeah, Matali is mainly catering to the FZ and Fazers these days, but R15's are being sold too. Too bad they don't stock much R15s and mainly order them when booked.

Awesome pics Ken da. The god of biking was here in India. Definitely they should get some limited editions R15 with decals like Rossi's M1 or his signature.Bikes Owned:
PULSAR 180 DTS -i (Riding Presently)
HH Splendor
HH Ambition

TVS Racing!!
I have seen the Monocross versions...RTR of 160cc, 250cc and 400cc.
In fact, my friend Arvind KP (popularly known as KP) is in TVS Racing(National Champ,2007). I met him and his fellowmates(Pramod Joshua, Santhosh, Pradeep HK...) in MRF Supercross 2009.
Apache RTR Monocross bikes are amazing machines! What an exhaust note!! They are still buzzing my ears!
The bikes were comfortable even against the Honda and the Yamaha!
I was so overwhelmed looking at them!!
Here are some of the photos...

The X1 is a beautiful machine. But it also seems to be one of the cars criticized heavily by the world media. It is supposed to have combined the abilities of Track and Offroad but Topgear, AUtocar and many other reviews says it does not do both.
For us Indians its a different perspective all together. We don't buy SUVs because we plan on offroading. We dont buy sports cars to live on the track. The X1 is one unique machine and I believe it will be well accepted in India.sigpic

Unicorn upgrade
Hi all,
As far as I know, by April 2010, the new Bharat Stage 3 (for bikes) emission norms should hit 13 cities.
If you look at the Honda line-up, all bikes and scooters except for Shine and Unicorn are all upgraded and meet the BS-III norms.
So shouldn't this mean that Unicorn too will soon be getting an upgrade? Atleast the engine must be getting a raised compression ratio to meet the new emission norms.
Incidentally, I have seen pics of the Unicorn Sport Concept displayed at the Auto-Expo, New Delhi in Jan '10.
Does anyone know if the new Sport Concept will become the new Unicorn? Or will the existing one be upgraded with Honda's new trends (maintenance free battery, tubeless tyres, viscous air filter etc.) and the BS-III compliance?
Do write if you have any news of the Unicorn being upgraded. I'm looking forward to seeing a new Unicorn.
Thank you very much

On my last visit to Honda showroom on Saturday, I was also informed that there will be a 150cc bike coming with the looks of the CB Twister. Not sure whether that is the new Unicorn, or another bike.Originally posted by vignesh.giridharan View PostHi all,
