Auto Expo 2010: xBhp's Complete coverage (pics and blogs)
Bajaj decided less than a week ago to put up a stall. Initially they had decided not to do so. This is as the grapevine goes. However it is pretty much evident that the Bajaj stall has been put up hurriedly. I post a couple of photographs clicked there. There was no press release. There was nothing much of interest. Just the usual bikes showcased as you can see...

The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

The HMSI stall started their Press Release with the usual announcements of the number units sold, future targets, the ushering in of the new era with bigger bikes and not to forget, the promise of another big bike being launched... At the same time, they announced the arrival of several of the older smaller bikes revamped, notably the new Unicorn, the new Stunner and a new Dio and one new arrival, the 110cc Twister. But before presenting any of the above mentioned bikes, we were presented with a Asimo type robotic self moving vehicle. Some photographs from their show:

The proud unveiling of the VFR1200 and other Superbikes that generated way more interest amongst enthusiasts, journalists and laymen present at the venue than the smaller bikes...

Uni with rear disc!! Thats a great thing to be featured in Uni.. Also I love the new red and white color scheme.. I expect this one to have more power than its predecessor too
The Yamaha stall was evidently less exciting than last time which was generated with the arrival of the R15 and other bikes. There were no new models to launch this year, only existing models to showcase. However, they formally opened the long awaited 09 now turned 2010 R1. The 2010 R1 was present in all its resplendent glory in blue and white... waiting to be fired... I could feel my fingers and body itching to swing my leg over and thumb the starter! They also had on display a Diversion, a Fazer 1000 and a Fz1, and so on... which were not for sale and of course the new Vmax which was launched a few months back. There was incidentally a white SZ Concept on display as well!
Some photographs from media day...
No need to describe this one...
