    How did they find that much space on cylinder head? They might have planted the nozzle on the bore. Can they do that? I'm curious.
    I read on the OD website that the CS is likely to be launched in a few months.

    I don't know how they managed to do it. They probably just couldn't let go of the triple spark tech since they take a lot of pride in it . They must have spent some extra money on R&D to make that 'triple spark fi' engine. And that basically means the 200SS will feature this triple spark + fi setup as well?!

      400cs's handlebar reminds me of Ducati monster series..

      high performance cars..
      For conventional FI they have to mount the injector on the throttle body..
      I think it will set efficiency benchmarks too coz of the combination of
      FI and triple spark
      Let's hope it retains the duke 390's compression ratio ...

            Thanks for the heads up. I didn't notice the 'nozzle' in the post. Bikes use throttle body injection? I didn't know that. I thought they use port injection.

              The injector is mounted on the port which is usually where the throttle body meets the cylinder intake port ,
              theoretically it can be placed anywhere between the butterfly valve and the intake port.

                I am a bit confused now... not sure if i should for the 400ss or rc 390 or should get the Ninja 300... But the 400ss looks really impressive.... I think waiting for it would be worth....

                  Wait for the RC390 too buddy, since you have time and options. It has a much cleaner design.

                        Hell yeah. Imagine the fate of the expensive Japs . Even the 'married kid' has come down to earth to praise the locals . This will now force the Japs to introduce good products with a justifiable price tag which is great for the Indian bike scene. The future looks very bright and promising. And didn't you notice, all of a sudden we are taking off from the decades old 100-200cc barrier. 250+cc bikes are gonna be a common site on our roads .

                        I have been riding a 200SS in my dreams for a few months now. But I haven't see it yet.

                            Honda's PGM FI is one of the best....
