Why isnt anyone talking about this bike. Nimble fast light 115 bhp and a yamaha. Yes priced about 1.5 lacs more than what i liked. But for a stock bike nothing like it currently in the market. Oh did i forget its dubbed as a wheelie machine the world over.
What about deliveries? Anyone booked it yet?
No reviews nothing in the indian context. Whats happening?

The bike is ridiculously overpriced because of its CBU nature. The MT09 (its an 847cc not a 900) should have technically costed less than the Z800 if it had been bought via CKD route. Z800 beats it in every single way with the exception of wet weight and torque which again is a very small margin.Originally posted by jackofsome View PostWhy isnt anyone talking about this bike. Dubbed as a wheelie machine? I assume you meant best wheelie bike (wheelie machine is a different thing). However the SuperDuke begs to differ.

Z800 is also a CBU, making MT09 look even more over priced.Originally posted by RoyalIndian View PostThe bike is ridiculously overpriced because of its CBU nature. Its equally reliable.
Has equal power.
Its 40 kilos lighter
Have way better sound and character.
Riding modes and traction control i believe.
Yes its overpriced. Dont know why.
I am absolutely ready to pay a lac more for this than the Z.
But its even higher which makes it a little glaring.

I am being aggressive abusive and inappropriate? Not sure what your definitions for those are but if someone quotes me unnecessarily out of the blue that questions my intellect then ofcourse I am going to be defensive about it. This is not the first time it has happened.Originally posted by The Monk View PostRoyal Indian

Asking someone to substantiate their claim =/= questioning their intellect

Jus chill out guys, why soo much hate? That too claim if z800 is better than mt09?obviously from a price perspective the z has the edge, but u can't judge until u have ridden both, I'm suprised nobody is talking about the ducati Monster n triumph speed triple which almost priced at 10lakhs,?

I have ridden the ducati 821 for a brief distance of about 70kms. In the full blown mode its a proper edgy naked roadster as it should. Great on that front. But the engine sounds coarse and definitely has way more vibrations than all other 3 or 4 cyl offerings.Originally posted by Deathwing View PostJus chill out guys, why soo much hate? I can relate to the same as i ride a RC390. Its like a bigger more aggresive brother.
But from my perspective as the kind of bike i want- it should be light, adequately powerful, smooth (as in vibration free) and should have good handling i thought the ST makes the cut after all the mods done. The MT 09 would have been on the top if it would have priced at least about 1.25 lacs cheaper than what it is priced at.
