even thats ok... the speaker vents for the phone on the ducati phone are open, which I find a bit strange, but on this one the panel is slightly different!

Still I would prefer v6200 as it provides MMI maps as opposed to R80 which comes with Google Maps ! ... Also going through specs of R80, it shows Battery : Talk time 4 hours which is very less compared to 6 hrs Talk Time provided by v6200 which is less !

Oopsie.. anyways.. I was just surfing when I bumped into that one.. hadn't been following this thread very closely as I just bought a new phone for myself .

Also, I come back to my point.. Verykool is water resistant but there is no certification here too. So If you want a certified Splash resistant ( IP54 certified) good phone with almost all features (and some more) buy Sony Ericsson C702. If you want IP54 rated phone for as cheap as 2k, Buy Samsung Guru Power (E2370).

Good then.. I take my words back. Videocon V6200 is Very Very Kool!

Because, for the record, This phone is rated (IPX 5) for higher levels of water resistance than the phones mentioned I my previous post(IPX 4) and only less than the legendary (and now discontinued) Samsung Marine (IPX 7).

IPX-5: Protected against water jets - Water projected at all angles through a 6.3mm nozzle at a flow rate of 12.5 liters/min at a pressure of 30kN/m2 for 3 minutes from a distance of 3 meters.

Such devices are usually imported from a chinese vendor (typically through ali baba .com) by the container and rebranded before selling. Here I am not questioning the quality of this particular phone as most Videocon models can be traced back to their chinese roots. Also, most consumer electronics manufacturers including the likes of Sony, Nokia, Toshiba, Panasonic now manufacture in China.

Oww ... So does that mean that even v6200 is IPX5 water resistant & they forgot to mention ? .... Also I found these two sites mentioning R80 as DUAL SIM ... Now I think they have mistaken the DUAL SCREEN as DUAL SIM, as the official site has no mention of it !
