        You mean the self/electric start..? 95 octane is what's prescribed. 97 will do just fine. No need of extra boosters over and above 97 octane. I'm sure Sunny's planned this out, so he should be okay on the trip.

        I run with a mix of 97 and 91 when on a long ride. No complaints from either me or the R1

            yeah, i sure was a bit confused, and had mistaken both the bikes on the home page to be '08 R1's (simply 'cos i hadnt looked closely enough at the front end).

            as for colours, i guess that with the custom colour approach being taken again, all 4 bikes will be similarly painted............right sunny???
