You mean the self/electric start..? 95 octane is what's prescribed. 97 will do just fine. No need of extra boosters over and above 97 octane. I'm sure Sunny's planned this out, so he should be okay on the trip.Originally posted by L.P. View Post@rossiter: What fuel do we use in superbikes..??
At the G2G today the R1 could not take the self ,due to the some tech problem..Later it took it..Acording to me.. Are'nt we suppose to use 97octane petrol and add some more octane booster to it..So that there is no kind of problem with it..??
Or we can run it directly on 97octane Petrol..
I run with a mix of 97 and 91 when on a long ride. No complaints from either me or the R1

yeah, i sure was a bit confused, and had mistaken both the bikes on the home page to be '08 R1's (simply 'cos i hadnt looked closely enough at the front end).Originally posted by MavericK46 View PostThanks for the clarification Sunny bhaiya
Simba and me were in splits trying to come up with an explanation..
So the R1's are gonna be brand new '08's..?
as for colours, i guess that with the custom colour approach being taken again, all 4 bikes will be similarly painted............right sunny???
