We woke up at 5.30AM today (and I am pretty sure we woke up the rest of the hotel too with Manan switching on his inbuilt radio for our entertainment
). This would be a long day with us doing photography in Nahargarh in the morning and attending a biker meet at The Rock in C Scheme in the evening. So off we went towards the fort following the twisting roads. It was still pitch dark with the moon indicating where the sun will rise from.
I actually raced up the twisties with a lot of confidence on the R1. There might be two reasons for this daredevilry: 1. It was pitch dark, i knew there would not be any vehicle thing around the corner (anyways I was taking precautions by sticking to my side of the road) and 2. Since it was dark I could not see the road surface and the gravel which did not hinder with my confidence.
Later i rediscovered that its easier going up than coming down on downhill roads on front-end swooping down superbike.
