Started off from the Best Western Stellar Hotel in Sydney around noon. Didnt have many kays to do today. Approx 250. I got the first taste of the countryside with beautiful farms and gentle rolling hills. The route taken was via Cessnock: Sydney NSW, Australia to East Maitland NSW, Australia - Google Maps
The first horse of the trip! If this were NZ, it would have been most definitely a sheep!

It was the second day and I had to cover this route via the famous-amongst-motorheads Oxley Highway. I started off from the Best Western Endeavor Motel from East Maitland towards the high country. Packing and loading the bike takes around 15 minutes and is my least favorite procedure every morning! Its a bit like getting ready for school!......

Connected with my office back in Delhi on The Grand Australian Roadtrip to discuss few things with colleagues. This is how the work goes on the road! Thanks to Alienware for such a fantastic lappy!
23000 KMS. That's going to need a bit of tyre changes! But not any tyre, Pirelli had developed a special tyre for the special bike that MTS is - the Scorpion Trails! They have proved to be impeccable across the 12 countries that I have ridden the Multistrada through so far! And they should do fine in the Australian one as well! For those who are looking for only road use, they can try the Angel ST. More info at http://www.linkint.com.au/pirelli_motorcycle_tyres_page.html Pirelli Motorcycle Tyres Australia
3000 Kays done! 20000 kms to go!

Leaving Airlie beach!

Onto the Red Center. On the way to Townsville.

Can't get cooler than this! A BATMAN ROADTRAIN!
Great dividing range!
