My video assistant!
So I introduced you to my hardworking video assistant a couple of posts below (https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?f...type=1&theaterGeraldton
This tree leans better than Rossi and is called the leaning tree. The lean is caused by constant southerly winds.
Beachside!
That looks like the iron man's first flight.
The Indian Ocean Drive!
Moonrise. This was one of the biggest moonrises I ever saw today at the unreal Nambung National Park. The limestone formations which you see are called The Pinnacles.

Hi Sunny, Wonder, Why Xbhp doesn't so far designed its own Flag. I am missing it On Your Bike in your travelogue. Would give a new dimension whenever you are on a foreign trip.Last edited by Hoodibaba; 06-09-2013, 10:20 PM.

The Grand Australian Roadtrip - Live Updates!
The beast is taking a nap!
If Godfather was a motorcyclist...
Batman for me is one of my idols. I draw inspiration and hope from this character. He inspires me to live larger than life and he gives me hope to find strength and character to overcome life's obstacles. A few instances in my life are also common with his storyline, hence the stronger connect. The best part is that he does not have superpowers which would totally detach his character from reality.... He is also very fragile and human at the same time, battling with emotional outages. The bike in the picture is the Ducati Panigale. Without going overboard I must say it is one of the most 'engaging' motorcycles I have ever ridden - visually, aurally and of course riding. Thanks to Jit Thakar for giving me company today! This is me dressed as Batman overlooking the Perth skyline. There are more photos coming up!
I must give back this city even more. True.
A big thanks to RevZilla, one of the biggest online motorcycle accessories and parts stores for supporting The Grand Australian Roadtrip with GoPros and other equipment. You can get almost any aftermarket accessory that you want from www.RevZilla.com and even have them suggest what parts are availaible to trick your bike once you register there and register your motorcycle in their virtual garage!
The last day with the Panigale on the roadtrip. Riding alongside with a motorpolice officer is always exciting. Especially when you know deep down he hopes you would speed up and he could earn some bucks. But no, I know how to do keep the Panigale down, even if it has 195 horse power!
13000 KMS in 48 Photos. This is collection sorted out of 6000 odd photos shot by me on the Australian ride so far. There were many more which could have made to the list, but it simply would have made it a long one. The personal challenge has always been to see what I can do with the camera with the limited time I have on the road. Just head to this link to see them all: 13000 Kms in Photos! @ The Grand Australian Roadtrip : Motographing 23,000 kms on a Ducati with Shell AdvanceThe Grand Australian Roadtrip : Motographing 23,000 kms on a Ducati with Shell Advance

The Grand Australian Roadtrip - Live Updates!
Pitstop at the start of one of the most isolated highways in the world across the Nullarbor plains.
Did 200 kms today. Felt like a ride to the local grocery store after all those distances. From this town, Norseman, starts the Nullarbor Plains, one of the most isolated and empty pieces of land with a tarmac on planet earth. Nullarbor literally means 'no trees' (Null Arbor). Tomorrow lies a 1200+ kms of straight stretch of road. Whether I will ride the complete way or not will be dictated by the weather. For now its back to photo editings, blogging and work! This photo was taken 6 years ago by me on the same stretch that I will ride tomorrow, the second time around.
The sun finally came out in the evening to give me hope for my ride tomorrow. Leaving at 5AM would mean that I have a chance to catch the stars, the rising sun and the sunset once again all in one day!
Pitter Patter. Damn the rains.
Really? Get on a bike!
Looks like a road to silent hill :|
Yes, parts of the Eyre highway is used as an emergency airstrip- the road itself!
Yeah! Cruise control please!
Time machine!
As far as the eye can see!

Once I have donned my black helmet, I become anonymous. My face ceases to identify me. My black visor shields others from the rigours of my passing glance while shielding me from their attempts to peer into my soul. I am an anonymous rider shrouded in black. I am no longer a specific self. I am a passing Traveller.

Ceduna Jetty.
Stop creeping ?
Yes this road across the Nullarbor also doubles up as an emergency airstrip for small planes.
Dear Police Officer, what is a young man on a 150 Hp bike supposed to do on this road?
