  • Can the Suzuki BKing 250 make it to India soon?

    Source: MCN

Will this bike come to India? If yes what will be your take on it? Noting that its rumoured to have a parallel twin motor, like the Ninja it should be around the range of 33hp. It looks bulkier than the Ninja 250 and being a street naked it will have a little bit mor practicality in the hot weather and the roads.

Just about! Nothing more to it than just the news.

That's a fantastic news, impulsive buy for practical use. But I'm thinking how would Suzuki India provide service. Until, two months back, there was service centre for Suzuki in Anna nagar & now? The building has been demolished & the question of service only remains.

Overall, if this motorcycle makes to India with a competitive pricing, yes, I myself would think of getting one though I'm a fan of Yamaha.

News from Sunny!! Is it true that we are going to get it here?

BTW, I feel that the headlight resembles Dazzler's headlight.

I just stumbled upon this info on the net (which seems to be quiet true since MCN featured this) and I see this as the one of the logical entries into the premium global brand 250 CC segment into India (besides a Yamaha and Honda Mill, and of course the Hyosung GT250R, whenever that comes)

Logical. Now, I have a feel that in an year or two we will have 250-cc mills from the Big Four, plus Bajaj.

It has been over a year that the Ninja 250 has been around. No one else other than Honda developing a 250 has shown any interest. You and I may think that this is a logical entry. But that it is actually going to come to India anytime soon is not something I am particularly convinced!

Ken bhai, u seem to be quite sure of the Honda 250 being launched in India, any idea as to when we can expect it?

The seats and grab rail looks taken directly from the unicorn.
I hope Suzuki prices it less than 2 lakhs so more and more people can buy it, I feel looking at the handle bar and seating position this bike looks a mix of touring and commuting machine.

Wow! A multicylindered 250! Sweet if it comes!

There has been rumours of a suzuki 250 being tested at chennai for a LONG time (since the r15 days) but I was under the impression that it was a semi faired version... wonder if any of it was true!

how's MCN calling the Kawasaki Ninja 250R engine age old?

@Sunny: how old is the link on MCN?

the only reason i see them calling the Ninja 250R's engine "age-old" is if the news article was age-old.
(ie: if it was published before the new Ninja 250R was launched.)

and that would make this piece of news not-so-promising!
