Honda Wing World, Naraina Delhi. You can ask them to get them for you.

      KRP, also Naraina.

      Order them over the net.

Have you got the EXUP cables adjusted? Rossiter has done it, and even I've done a fair bit of reading.

          Check your PM.
          You get the point?? :D

Will set you back by around 20k though.

For the cost-conscious chap who wants the same effect of a slip-on, I would recommend another DIY job, which is to install A&R race baffles in the stock exhaust.

Taking things a step ahead, if you remove the cat, and install the race baffles, you have a full exhaust system for about Rs. 9000, whereas a full exhaust system for the R1 will set you back by around 75k-1L

So the choice is clear, whether to DIY for the required effect, or to shell out the moolah for the sound and performance bump.
Any advice on where I can source race baffles for my Ninja? And how it can be installed?

I wont be buying a slip-on soon as aftermarket parts will void the warranty. Moreover I love the stock sound of the ninja, so I'm just toying with the idea of a slip-on. Oh, a decent set of pipes cost over 30k so just curious about the DIY thingy.

                  Hi guys,
I own a 08 R1. The problem with my bike is that suddenly the head lights and the metre lights go off. I had traced the problem to the connector in the wire harness located to the left of my bike near the fuse box. I had cleaned it and reconnected it but the problem is still there. But i am sure the problem is with the connector only, any suggestions....

Hi Aditya, sorry for the late reply man. Saw this only now. First thing you can do is to gut the catalytic converter. The problem is this will lean the engine out a bit so I am not too sure if the ECU can compensate for the change in AFR once the cat con is removed.

Otherwise it is a simple DIY. And the baffles are simple enough to be manufactured right here in India. I will show you sometime exactly how it looks

How did you trace the problem to this particular connector? Just curious. And my reading of this is that probably a rodent has gnawed through one or more wires (this is very common here in India). Keep posting mate. Let me also try and find a solution for you.

Excellent tutorial. But that welding job seems very complicated demanding very high skill!

                        Query on Battery Charging

Just wanted to know how do we charge the battery for a superbike ?
My busa seems to be low on battery these days
So are they are special chargers for these batteries or do i have to go to the regular battery guy ?
Whats the charging period in terms of hours and any particular volt etc they need to be charged ?
Thanks in advance for the assistance

Now time to close the pipe up. This requires TIG welding, which is not arc welding. Since I did not have a TIG welding setup, I went to a place which did, and had it done. I tack welded using my welding apparatus, and had the rest done.

You need to make sure the welder compensates for the material lost on the pipe during the cutting. Since the Y pipe is made of steel, he will fill in the gaps with steel and weld it in. Also need to ensure good clean welds, so that you don't get exhaust gas leaks onto your ankle/leg
