I am not married, not a drunkard,, I just drink a bit daily evening,, okei somewhat drunkard & my girl will be @#$*&@# - when will you get serious?, marry me?, start saving? blah, blah, blah.... & I'll be like, very soon dear. I can only imagine things post marriage LOL.

to keep things simple, i fix a friday about 20 days in advance when all us friends decide to get together, have general chit-chat & go home n sleep like dutiful husbands before its too late.

since i plan in advance, wifey is not hyper about it as she knows my plans.

i make 2~3 calls to her whenever i have a bio-break while @ the bar / pub - just so she knows i remember her & i recollect that i'm married!

the next morning when i wake up, i clarify the next subsequent date / day when we friends are gonna meet again!

transparency, truthfulness & true-lies are the keys to successful + happy married life [& wife]

Those are tire warmers. Most race tires need to be up to a certain temperature in order to grip the road properly. Which is not just true for race tires actually. That's why you need to warm your tires before attempting some serious riding. Most road tires require a lil running time to perform optimally. Race tires which are extra grippy require a little more. Hence when the bikes are parked in the pits, almost everybody runs tire warmers. Tire warmers basically cover the entire tire and need to be hooked up to some source of power to generate heat in order to aid the rubber in getting up to optimal operating temperature.

been a while since i updated here.
its been almost 3 years since i brought the fighter home.
have not done too many kilos like some of you have.
am sitting just over 9000 kms.
but 9000kms of pure adrenaline.
last week end managed to go for a 500kms ride with a friend of mine who was on a street tripple. we did exchange bike every now and then.
completely different machine that. so easy to ride, so easy to ride fast, very comfortable. cant remember when i had so much fun on 2 wheels.
hopping back on my fighter, i realised why i bought her in the first place, es its no the most comfortable bike, yes it nearly always wants to kill you, yes it is terrible at low rpms, yes it is an absolute pain for city riding in traffic, yes its all that......BUT there is nothing on this planet that is as bonkers as a 1098SF. it always gives u the shivers, u can see ur hands shaking when u get off the bike. it makes u do naughty things... almost like a small voice in your ears saying " what happens if u twist the throttle a weee bit more " , " what happens if u try and power wheelie ", " what happens if u carry that much extra speed into the corner on a track ".
the SFS does all that with great style..... it is more evident now than ever.... this one is for keeps... forever.
