+ 1 for the evoOriginally posted by freekoo View PostIn my opinion you should go in for a Ducati 848evo........it costs almost 2lacs cheaper. It looks sexy and is fast enough to keep up with most litre class bikes.
if u like the twin then nothing beats the 848, it has got everything u will ever need to keep u drooling for a very long time
before u consider this bike, take a look at the service back up, am not saying ducati india is not efficient, but ducatis around the world are notorious for delaying everything, so in case some thing goes wrong, u will have to wait for months to get ur bike running again.drive safely... if not for you then for the sake of others!!

now thats an advice i would followOriginally posted by ashtorque View PostI would ask you to wait not for price factor but for the 2012 Fireblade model. They should launch the model around October this year. I expect a big change in the fireblade machine, gadgetry and other features just to have their nose ahead of the Ninja 10R and the BMW S1000RR. I have also heard "rumours" that 2012 model will be a V-engine.
(OT: I just saw the RSV4 on Sunday and boy what a machine it is!!!)
Also being in Mumbai you might want to see the monsoon off!!!
2012 probably will see an engineering miracle from honda, there is no way they will survive othervice.
the RSV4R and RSV4 factory are stunning bikes, i had the R version for 3 months and loved every moment of it. its small and nimble like a 600 ( dont get me wrong , its heavier than any liter bike ) but man that sound of that v4, even with that stock exhaust is pure sex !!
best sounding bike ever!! clip the bike into first gear and it sounds even better.
but again.... aprilia has the same problems as ducati
if i were u, i would ask myself, is there any bike that moves my soul, if the blade answers YES to u, dont look back , go for it, promise u , u will never repent it.
dont get into the rat race, bikes keep changing every year.drive safely... if not for you then for the sake of others!!

There is no SBK that is inferior to any other SBK. The magazines may point out the differences but trust me, whatever you buy you are going to love it. That is probably the difference between maginze review and ownership experience.
My friends 2010 fireblade has lot more "features" than my 2007 fireblade but I swear to God there wasnt a single moment when I felt that I have something inferior. SBKs are there to offer you an experience that cannot be matched by anything else on this planet (Disclaimer: I am yet to have the Buggati and F-16 experience
To each his own karma!

Just the other day a few of us were discussing about which bike to buy and the comparison triggered on why 'my choice' of\in HyperMotard is flawed and I should be buying a full faired machine as they are superior! WTF!Super CommuTOURer - Talk less, Ride more

Oh yeah? what is the source?Originally posted by Mik View PostFrom what i heard, Ducati Monster prices have been dropped drastically. Maybe sign of things to come
OP - The revised pricelist is due to the fluctation in VAT. I know for sure that For Ducati Bangalore, it was revised from 13.5 to 14%. Just ask the dealership, what exactly is changing from the original quote.
