Thanks for that info. Would it be okay if I asked about the price tag it had? Just to get an idea of these bikes in the pricing department.

had got it at a very good price - 5.5 that time. ended up selling it for 6.5. though i had thrown in my hjc helmet, joe rocket riding jacket, joe rocket riding gloves, + puig racing bubble screen, bmc air filter, k&n oil filter, brand new tyres, paddock stand, indore registration, insurance all with the bike! so i guess it was a fair price considering i had spent a bit more on the goodies
and the entire deal was via cheque - so no lafdas with th IT dept either

              status is - still looking

haven't got any leads for that particular bike.

guess have to widen my search

Looking for a clean import MV Agusta F4 1000 - anywhere in the country.

requirements - all the papers need to be intact! The bike should be in excellent running condition. The payment should be acceptable via cheque - rtgs - or whatever is the legal mode of payment - absolute a strict NO to cash! the price should be reasonable.

now can anyone help me here??

if not mistaken there were 2 similar examples in delhi sometime ago. Remember the shoot out between the mv and ducati some couple of years back?? or maybe raoul's visit to the bike collector's place? there was one mv there, and i am assuming it was a full duty paid import.

can anyone help me out now??

On our Sunday morning ride to nandi hills near Blore we saw an MV Agusta Senna Edition amongst various other bikes.

One of the riders in that group is Mr. Reddy who owns Tusker Harley in Blore (the official HD Showroom) and i mentioned to him that you were looking for an MV.

You might want to contact him and ask for details. This of course was the Senna edition and i am not sure if the owner wants to sell it. It had no plates and i am guessing its not a clean import.

                Reddy can be reached here:

just some thing that i saw today, thought u might find it informative.
was at a prestigeous honda dealership today when i went to pick up my friends blade.
these dealers have also started a MV dealership here in Johannesburg.
they even had 2 bikes on display , 990r brutale and 910 s brutale.
beautiful machines, even took them for a test ride, was amazed, how nice these bikes are.
whats more interesting was the prices.
                  910s for 7 lacs rupees and 990r for 9 lacs.(both brand new)
was thinking, even if any one wants to import these machines to india, it would still be a bargain.
they didnt have the pricing for the F4 yet.
i wanted to ask those guys if they will sort the export out to india themselves... but wasnt sure if there would be any one interested to buy them in India.
besides, the service and stuff is still a big ?
but the bike does come with a 2 yrs unlimitted km , international warrenty.
drive safely... if not for you then for the sake of others!!

                    thanks a lot buddy.
spoke to Mr. reddy - seemed like a nice gentleman.

he said that the bike's not his but a friend's. he said he would speak to his friend, pass on the message and let me know whether his friend is interested in selling it.

                    some ray of hope.

but still - the search is on for the clean import from chennai - might have been sold off to someone else probably, but still with so many xbhpians pan india, and so few mv agusta's in india - locating it should not be much of a problem.
for all we know the bike might have landed up in delhi - considering there are atleast 3 mv's there as far as I know. one being a member of G.O.D.S

well got a call from the owner of the senna edition MV today.

again a nice gentleman, but hit a few snags

asked him to mail the scanned copy of the papers to me (clean bike is the first priority - remember?) but ain't to comfortable with mailing of papers (no clue why) and he insists that I should see them in person - now for that i would have to go to bangalore. though to see the bike i would have to go to bangalore too, but then again my requirements are quiet simple - 1. clean papers, 2. cheque to be the only mode of payment and 3. clean bike. and yes that's the priority sequence.

let's see when can i make a trip to bangalore.

and the price quoted for a 5 year old bike is slightly on the higher side too. can get a diavel carbon, registered+insured and ducati riding gear+fancy arai helmet and still save some dough.

so the search's still on till the time i go visit bangalore.

p.s:: my bad - not the diavel carbon but a regular next door diavel.
