    As you want to use it for everyday commuting, beware of the heat of the engine as its a air cooled 1200cc mil, it starts to heat up in stop and go traffic as any other big bike does, which is not advisable for the engine plus you need safe parking to the place you are going.

          @Raoul Black
          Is the GC of the 48 enough for our indian roads? whats your thoughts?

          Thanks..

            The GC is on the lower side but not unmanageable.
            I have bumped the ground a couple of times but that is in the ownership of 10 + months.
            You have to be a bit careful, thats all.
            Take it a little slow on the speed bump & you should be fine

              hmmn, i guess the 103mm GC is bad for our speed bumps, can harley increase the GC for the 48? any shocks they can provide?

              Thanks..

                u can put dyna's or the road king's rear shockers, that should increase height & make the ride more comfortable.
                Take the bike for a test ride, ride for sometime, see how many bumps you touch?

                    Even i had a (had a ninja 250r) problem about the parking the vehicle in public. i have used the bike for commuting also. so, i have little experience with heat and parking with liquid cooled bike minus 950cc! .

                      Hey congrats on the Harley, and a lovely color....most of all respect on the part that you let your dad have the first ride, I am sure he felt really proud of you. I feel so touched about it not even knowing you.
                      A friend has an 883 sposter with a screaming eagle exhaust and everytime I ride it I just love the way it sounds. It sure is a machine to be enjoyed on the highway.
                      The roads in Delhi are much better than that of Mumbai and I am sure its a blast to ride. Stay safe and hope you enjoy more as time goes by.

                            Just got the big radius, heavy breather & fuel pack installed. Sound is amazing.
                            Its quiet when you want it to be and really loud when you give her the stick.
