Congrats man...as for advice - take it easy till the run in is complete and there is a lot of torque there so a wrong throttle twist can put in a hairy situation on our indian roads

since most of the guys are preparing to pack up for the monsoons in Mumbai so had to ride out alone in the weekend...got to catch up with a hog group thru a friend...was amazing to note the amount u guys spend on stuff after buying the bike....pipes...seats...suspension etc etc....man short of the engine whats not replaced....

also must say a very disciplined group of riders...but a wee bit slow for my liking so did the next best thing...marked out the stops...rode out and waited...:roll eyes:

                      have fun with the goodies
If you not living close to the edge ...... your taking up too much space

Yeah we harley guys change a lot. Me personally have changed the pipes, intake, fuel management, number plate, tail light, seat, pegs and drags bar.
Waiting for coil and ignition relocation, maybe a tank lift, then hopefully i am done...already spent a lot of dough on her
Will put the pics once i am done

As for waiting for us...bro the way u ride a Harley and the way u ride a superbike is totally opposite...you are in hyper space where u can only see the road and we are like in a slow motion movie, taking all the scenery in as we go along...have you heard Slow Ride by Foghat, thats Harley

Congratulations for your bike and mods..

I am sure it is an awesome feeling to customize your bike according to your own taste and needs.. and with brands like Harley Davidson, its all the more easy, coz they don't just setup outlets to deliver bikes like many other foreign brands.. they also bring a hell lot of accessories along.

I have seen a few Superbikes/Sportbikes heavily customized but they are only a few, mainly because the Japanese manufacturers don't provide that huge accessory range, its mostly after-market, not easily/readily available in our market.

Ride safe.. great bike... someday.. in a few years

Thank you, but none of my stuff is from Harley, except the drag bars, all other are after market
As for SBK being modded, i c most of the guys go stage 1 changes and stop, some take it further but very few.
Harley - i think is the only brand where people change the bike so much that it becomes difficult to relate it to the stock look
