    It was a spur of the moment schedule, he came over since he was coming to Kolhapur anyway. Earlier he told me he coudl come by end of the month and I was cool with that too but I'm not complaining now

    Ask him about my bike, they seemed to like it a lot, with all the mods. And they both seemed pretty bowled over with the sound. Give them my regards when you see them and tell them I was all praises.
    LOL, well as long as a fellow biker's misery has been to rest..

    Post up with what they did, how much the spares were, etc. Just a brief topical note would be fine.

    PS: The name's Akhil

    PPS: I don't know your name

      Hi Akhil,

      Labour + ST = 7000
      Oil 5 ltrs = 885
      Filter = 614
      Total = Rs 8499/-

      General Service, oil + filter change, chain adjusted, cleaned and lubed, brake pads check, electric check, all bulbs check, battery voltage check, throttle cable play adjusted, lighting system check, full wash and polish.

      The MT has 2 drain bolts for the oil; one for the oil tank the other for the crank case. You've got to remove the belly pan for the crank case bolt. Same for the R1?

      All this can be done yourself too but you need the Yam stamp for warranty .

      The entire service was like a show for the people in my building, the lads had an audience while they worked. I went back up when they started draining the oil from the tank and only came down when they were polishing the beast.

      They've told me inspite of what the manual says, the 2nd service should be done at 5k kms. Same for you?
