re: A Green Affair! Starring Kawasaki Ninja 650 Edit: Now Sold!
That is true, just last week I had visited the KTM Kawasaki center and they have a wide network of service centers (in Bangalore) when compared to Hyosung.Plus the service center issue which Hyosung has.. they don't have service centers everywhere. This is where Kawasaki/Bajaj leads.Bullet Electra 350

WOW. 30k before 1 and a half years on a weekend 650cc bike on Indian roads? That's a very rare combination. I don't think you could have got any other thing better than this for your money
Keep enjoying your rides and keep on posting those beautiful pics

re: A Green Affair! Starring Kawasaki Ninja 650 Edit: Now Sold!
I recently visited the showroom and was disappointed to know that Kawasaki does not provide a test ride. What could be the reason??
So all the dealer could show was to button crank the bike to life and rev it a few times. I was not very impressed with the sound the bike made at high revs. My expectation was a little different. I thought it would sound something similar to z800
. I am not sure if I have made myself clear here though. I dont know how else to explain it.
I wanted to know if there are any aftermarket mods that can be made to improve the sound?Bullet Electra 350

Thanks! nitrosatyaOriginally posted by nitrosatya View Post^ The sound which you are talking about comes only from an inline four cylinder engine.
Ninja 650 has two cylinder engine.
, yea I get what you are saying. I was reading about the other thread on z800 and it had a mention of inline 4 cylinder engine. But I really dont understand the mechanical aspect of the difference. Just that I love that sound.

Ride to Guhaghar
Date: 17 - 18th May'14
Route: NH17
Distance Covered: 550 kms
A weekend ride to Guhaghar! Rode on the NH17 highway again both ways and I guess I wont be going on that highway anytime soon. Too many rumblers, Too much traffic. It's seems like weather it is getting hotter day by day and riding in hot sun really takes a toll sometimes. Some pictures of the ride.

Ferry Ride

Met up with this lovely Swedish couple from UK. They just started riding 5 years back and last year once their 3 sons were "independent" they sold off everything and started on a world tour. They are planning to airlift the bikes from Mumbai to Alaska and then tour Canada, US and South America! Wow!

And they were off before most of us even woke up. Talk about energy levels

Wow! Amazing pics. And the naked BMW, which one is that? Part of the K series? It sure looks butch! Even compared to the FZ! More pics of that please.
