      I paid 5155/- in March first week at kawasaki for the second service.

      One interesting point though. In feb i had dropped the bike and the left rearview mirror broke. Ktm workshop told me it was 4500+. I didnt go for it at the time and during the second service at Kawasaki i asked for it and they said it was 3300. Not sure if the price actually changed or the guys at ktm were charging so much more.

        Yes. The labour charges are way too high. Even I got to know from one of a fellow er6n rider that first service cost in Coimbatore is around 7500rs. By the way Kawasaki sales and service in chennai and Coimbatore both places handled by JMB groups. Any kawasaki riders from Chennai or Coimbatore please share your service cost info if you do it in JMB.

          Its a LED bulb, which costs about the same as an HID, as 2 bulbs are needed for the bike, but no modifications are needed to the headlight dome, as its just plug n play, so all you need to do is take out the old stock bulb and fit this one in that place, or else as others have mentioned can opt for Osram or Philips Xtreme vision, which are lot cheaper options, which even I am using (Xtreme Vision) on my Er6n, but when compared with the LEDs, halogens are no match though...

            Yea, these are HID lamps, but what I had suggested was, just change of stock bulbs to LED ones, which I had put a link of the same as they need changing of the bulbs only, whereas installing HID means you may need to modify the headlight dome itself to accommodate the projector unit, but even the LEDs cost the same as the HIDs, but if cost was an issue, then you could go ahead and install the halogen bulbs from Osram or Philips Xtreme Vision as they are cheap, but when compared these halogens to LEDs, they are no match as LED bulbs are far more brighter....choice is yours..

                  Hi Sachin, Thank you for your reply..In fact, as I said earlier, one guy at Bengaluru Orian Motors mentioned that "Morimoto" but I forgot that name...forgive my bad memory..and in the month of May me and bunch of my friends are planning a big trip..my place Kurnool to Salem then Kanyakumari and from there entire konkan drive Thiruvanantapuram, Alapppzha, Ernakulam,Kozikode, Mangalore, Udipi and up Panjim and from there return to my home town Kurnool...Five bikers..11 days..so I am in planning the trip right now..after returning I'll think of HID projects...Once again thank you Sachin Ji..

                    Exactly the post that I was looking for. My bike is stranded due to lack of 160 tyres in the market. Will go for the 180 now that the experts have approved. Thanks Sachin! [emoji4]

                      It's not that scarce anymore. You can find 160 rear tire now. Contact Rajeev Gera from Torus Tires, he might have 160 section rear tire.

                          Comparing Michelin PR4 to Pirelli Angel GT, which one would you prefer to as I am still skeptical whether to stick with the stock Dunlops itself as they have really good grip, when compared to earlier stock ones from which I had heard a lot of complaints about poor grip, the latest bikes had updated Dunlops, so its still a confusion to me whether I should go with the Dunlops itself or try Michelin PR4 or Pirelli Angel GT

                            On any given day, Angel GT are better than the rest. But they are not available easily. After hunting for quite sometime, I settled for Metzeler M7RR, which fare better than Michelin or Dunlop, as per couple of guys I know and as per reviews online. Check them out.

                              Guys ,

                              Pardon me for posting my queries on this thread, but the ownership thread seems totally unresponsive. Coming back to my grab rail query I had earlier. The new LH grab rail costs 4950/- and I felt it was crazy putting down that money on the grab rail but rather invest that plus a bit more upgrading the brake lines . ( Bit short on the dough right now ), The thing is I also do want the grab rail. Does anybody know if the thing can be fabricated for cheaper or maybe even a used one if available ? Or do I just bite the bullet and go for the new one as is ?

                                Hello guys,

                                Is there any Kawasaki owners based in chennai who can share me information on any superbikes workshop for fitting frame sliders, radiator guard and so on for the ninja 650. From showroom I feel like all these protection parts are over priced..

                                I can get the parts from online. But I need any trust worthy mechanic to do the fitment. If any fellow sbk owners know anyone plz share me the details.
