Looking good ! You my friend have picked up the epitome of motorcycle engineering . This bike will do whatever you ask off it and then some. After 25k kms of riding it i can safely say nothing comes close interms of speed , comfort and presence.
okay here is the lowdown. there is a running period on your bike. refer to the manual for the same. secondly you can use normal rating fuel if 97 is not available. avoid additives coz eventually you ll end up clogging your injectors.
lastly get your gear in place. at the very least , helmet , jacket , gloves. Always and i repeat always wear your gear.

work of your core strength and squat up...buddy. When u ride you should not have any weight on the wrists... common mistakes - sitting too far back , jamming the crotch ( yup many do it ) , not hugging the tank with the thighs ...so when u brake your thighs tighten to ensure u don't slide and put pressure on the wrist.....do a few day of track school - Kari is near ur place .... learn from experienced instructors - read as non local gyan masters - she can be a beast so be careful and watch that wrist - a twist can get u in trouble....

PS : get tank pads as they aid in thigh grip

DO NOT TRUST THE ABS TILL THEY ARE REPLACED.

There is an o ring failure in the modulator that is happening leading to the breaks not catching and this is why all abs modulators in the busa are being replaced by the manufactured. I think yours should be ready sometime mid November when they start doing replacements for Karnataka circle abs busa

I have a friend in the busa forums in canada who has first hand suffered from this failure this. Still praying for him to recover soon from a fractured hip.

About the engine heat in city riding, the busa will not breach the 50% heat even after being traffic for long time. My bike is 5 years old I vouch for it. If you see it going more than 50% in city then discuss with your service center.


just curious what's the mileage it returned....

I got a shocking 23 kmpl from my Bangalore Haveri trip on the 19. October and 22 kmpl from 27th cot ride. I still recovering as I run a power commander with booted maps on them.

Also the bike will take any road you challenge it to. Ground clearance is amazing for a SBK.

even i did hear about ABS check, showroom people said they will let me know when. and maximum mileage that i got is 16.8 KMPL in c-mode. Congrats for mileage you are getting.
And i heard lot about not to ride when the road is wet, some say water will affect engine, is it true?
