Answers in bold.Originally posted by shetty23288 View PostHe said there is no run-in period for Hayabusa and I can ride in any rainy condition if I take care of slippery surface, can someone can correct if its wrong? - Run-in must be there, if I am not wrong. Please have a look through the manual and websites and confirm the same
So far am using speed 97 grade petrol. Can I use octane boosters in case? : Octane boosters add more to existing petrol, if I am correct, RON95 and above are specified for Busa, so if you are using 97, you don't need boosters. You would need it if you use normal speed/premium petrol
Can some one guide me for riding gear? So far I have bought AGV helmet and planning to buy Alpinestar all weather jacket.: Direct your query alongwith budget to this thread and you will get more replies (Click Here). Although I would suggest, do get a riding pant and riding boots, as the heat from the bike would make it uncomfortable if you are in jeans and normal shoes.
Please post more pics. Eagerly waitingFare thee well xBhp, All the best for being the biggest name in corporate world

Re: Got Suzuki GSX1300r hayabusa(2013 with ABS)
Lovely! Congrats bro. Its my dream bike too. I'd not advice buying a full all weather suit, rather, a separate jacket + pant. Riding boots are a must for the Busa. Please join us in our G2G rides every month.

Re: Got Suzuki GSX1300r hayabusa(2013 with ABS)
Congrats mate for a very good buy.
Seriously, get your gear sorted. Alpinestar is the right choice, though go for a full racing suit rather than buying jacket separately and then pants. Do go in for Alpine start boots and glvoes as well. you can buy from Planet DSG and such storesM3:15

Re: Got Suzuki GSX1300r hayabusa(2013 with ABS)
Congrats bro on owning one of the world's fastest bike, do share us about your bike's experience more and post more pics. . . Coming to riding gears, do visit the page @prateek2210 has mentioned. . . Also get together with the Bangalore Xbhpians and you have a lot of choice and shops there to get your self good ones, . . Other than that try Planetdsg, again as said above, try for a whole leather suit rather than taking it seperately. . . You'll get all the gears you need from Planetdsg.com and also get help from Bangalore Xbhpians, they'll tell you where you'll get the best ones. . .
Cheers!!!

Re: Got Suzuki GSX1300r hayabusa(2013 with ABS)
@shetty23288
congrats on the bike.
Firstly get a decent set of frame sliders ASAP. Most busa falls happen when your taking the bike out of parking or leaving the fuel station.
secondly if this shivanand is from aryan Suzuki your referring to then trust me you're in super hands.he has helped with tons of times advising on my busa.
Love the bike she will take care of you if you play around the busa will be first to kick you off its back. Also my suggestion is to ride it in C mode as much as possible.
run in of a busa.
1-do not cross 180 for the first 1000km
2-do not cross 7000rmp first 1000km
Pm me if you need anything on the busa that shivanand isn't able to help you about. Which I doubt will be the case.
I think you were supposed to join me on the ride with Xbhp folks on the 8th then dropped off
@prateek2210 - if you see my run in notes I think you get it why shivanand said there is no run in for the bike.
Personally I feel the busa needs a run after.....I Ride - L12 Busa

Re: Got Suzuki GSX1300r hayabusa(2013 with ABS)
Sound advise. also remember to keep your leg drawn out when you make u turns or hard angles at low speeds... seen a lot of that happen to people because they think sticking a leg out is amateurish... while the fact is that the torque of a single combustion from this engine can cause wheelspin or take your balance out (heck a lot of power)Originally posted by harish.krovvidi View PostFirstly get a decent set of frame sliders ASAP.

....
I personally suggest running in whether manufacturers mention it or not, in any case I wonder if you can truly do 'out of running in speeds' on the Busa in Indian conditions just yet keeping in mind its your first SBK. Keep RPMs as a benchmark while you run it in.
Hope you get your riding gear asap.
Cheers and welcome to xbhp mate.
