          Current Odo: 1700KM

Went on a breakfast ride to Adigas Kolar on sunday with sharath (Street triple), roshan (N300) and hiran (CBR250). Rode for ~200KM. Was able to cross 180 KMPH and had loads of fun. While returning, finished run-in and did around 160KMPH in 3rd gear @ 11000RPM. Exhaust was very loud post 8K RPM.

Yesterday filled 97 Octance fuel and i could see engine response to be smooth and more crisp. Planning to use 97 RON fuel whenever possible with occasional 91RON fuel.
Speed 97 costs Rs 88 per litre now. Not very expensive IMO.

Is it true that the acceleration above 7 k is much faster than lower Rpm ?

Its definitely faster above 6K RPM and also a bit scary when you cross 9K. It just keeps on pulling and pulling like a locomotive

Availability of torque across rev range is really good on this bike.

Re: Zee comes home - My 2014 Kawasaki Z800

Went on 140KM ride today morning towards krishnagiri mcdonalds. As its a sunday, traffic was less.
As roads were mostly empty, got opportunity to redline couple of times. There's hell lot of rush post 8K RPM and acceleration is fierce. Was holding on to 12K RPM for few seconds in 2 and 3 gear.
Engine is super smooth and exhaust is super loud post 8K rpm.

I was practicing hard braking on empty stretches and managed to test ABS. Locked rear brake couple of times and felt vibes in rear brake lever indicating ABS is working.

Also installed kawasaki engine guards yesterday (got them from thai). They improve looks of the bike and they seem to be built well.

Got AGV Sport solare riding pant from prs mumbai. Good one imo.

A few pics from today's ride:
