    5 days back i changed spark plugs of my bike, this has improved bike pickup, performance and battery life allot. deepak, will try to catch up with you some day, i stay in kalyan, chembur will be far away. btw, i don't drive my bike daily and rarely use it hence I was thinking to sell my bike. This is huge bike and have great road presence, which always put me in double thinking about selling it.

    Also, some plastic parts in my bike have lost their chrome shine, is it possible to gain it back?

      If you r planning to sell quote me a price and I may be able to find a buyer as many people are wanting to buy my bike........also post some pics from different angles so I can know about the condition of the bike........as for the chrome it can be done somewhere in CST road Kurla ........will tell you if I get the address.......

        my garage friend told me that there is one local guy who does this job, will cost me only few hundred bucks, will let you know how it goes. Once I made up my mind, I will let you know before selling.

                I know about him !! He even visited my Orkut profile ! But he is selling his bike right, so he isnt a Aquila owner anymore !! Plus he isnt active here at all, so who knows how interested he'll be in G2Gs and all !!

                AFAIK, there are 4 Aquilas in Bangalore. And I know theres one in my locality itself. Met him a cupl of times !! But he seems to be a bit of a recluse, isnt interested in collaborating and isnt interested in long rides !!

                So there .....

                  Oh I see, but if you happen to visit mumbai there is a lot of G2G going on here...........We have a lot of rides happening here ,even today I was supposed to go on a ride but got cancelled due to some reason ........you can check the official mumbai offline G2G thread so you have an Idea of whats happening........

                    Thr r lots of G2Gs here in Bangalore as well. I was thinkin more in the lines of a specific Aquila owners meet up sometimes so that we can collaborate better.

                        And sure man, we'll make some plans together. In fact even I wnated to ask you bout the tyres you hve on ur Aquila. What are they ? the original Shinkos ? How so they perform ? I ned to change my front tyres urgently, but am not getting good options here in Bangalore.

                          Hi guys ,I am having trouble with my bike and the bike starts to missin at 6000rpm ,,,,,,,can you help out ................do any of you know where I can find a pickup coil as it seems the current is going haywire at more than 6000rpm.........I stay in Mumbai and my contact no is 9821185081......

                            What is a pickup coil ?? Do you mean the ignition coil ?
                            From the problem description, it might also be a CDI issue, or carb synchronisation. I used to have the same problem with bike missing after 5000 rpms and then there was a massive loss of power. Normally after waiting on the side for 10-20 mins, it'd again be okay.

                            Is that what is happening with you ? In that case the culprit is clogged bigger jet and improper carb sync.
                            Get it checked by a good mech. BTW you might want to try 020-25669902. Some Kinetic showroom in Pune. Might have some spares !!
                            But I'd say the best bet is : HYOSUNG GV/GT 125/250/650: Hyosung Parts For Reasonable Prices

                            Email him for the rates.
                            BTW I also have the parts catalogue, u might need it to order some small parts. If you want it, pls let me kno the mail id. I'll mail it to u !!

                              This is the problem that I felt when I did a small test ride on that mighty bike

                              I have ridden a friends acquila before, so I really felt the bike was choked!

                              MasterMind sir,
                              Check the following things in this order of convineince:
                              1) The Air filter
                              2) The Spark Plug
                              3) The Carb!

                                ^^ In tat case, pls have a look at the tank as well. It might well be rusted. Lots of Aquila's that made in India had the tanks, that did not pass (or weren't subjected to) Quality Check.

                                So they rust pretty quickly.And lots of Aquila owners do not take care of their bikes at all !!

                                @Satyen : Did you mean you rode Masters Aquila ? Then you might be able to give him some insights !! A properly maintained Aquila literally flies!!
