@Satyen : Did you mean you rode Masters Aquila ? Then you might be able to give him some insights !! A properly maintained Aquila literally flies!!
Yeah me and a lot of Mumbai guys did their bit of test rides on the Aquila, all were impressed
Only Shiva and I complained about the missing issue

I have done everything from getting the carbs clean to changing both the spark plugs....the problem lies in current that falters at 6000rpm....so I had a talk with Faiyaaz .........a mechanic from dongri who specialise in big bikes and also performance related issues of smaller bikes.........my mechanic also said the same thing that I need to change the pickup coil .....Its a small dibbi kind of part which comes together with the alternator magnet.........now my problem is to find that part alone without the whole assembly.........so if you guys know anythg about it or any alterations that would be of help please let me know............

Pass me ur mail id. I'll send across the Parts catalogue. Show that to ur mech and ask wich part number he is talking bout. Then we might see what can be done ...

BTW does the current totally go down at 6000 rpm or u have a flat spot ? Coz some Aquilas have that problem. A flat spot arnd 6000 rpm. U'll need to change the CDI to rectify it !!
Kawasaki Ninja : Because lazy sunday afternoons should be despatched at 160 kmph!!!
Hyosung Aquila : Because sometimes you need to look cool while riding at 40 kmph and you can do that only on a cruiser !!!

Tis is the CDI. Open the main seat and look below. Its there along with the rectifiers and the fuses. The CDI (Capacitor Discharge Ignition) is the thing that control the discharge that in turn sends the current to ignition coils and spark plugs!
If the problem is only at 6000 rpms, it might very well be coz of a faulty CDI !!

I thought only Comet's suffer with this problem.
There is a general known flat spot in the RPM range 5500-6000 of Comet and may be Aquila too.
Engine feels like stalling in this range and after crossing 6000 it becomes super smooth.

Related issue mentioned in this forum too:
Netrider :: View topic - 1000kms Hyosung update

You might not notice it in lower gear but when 5th and hitting 5500 is spectacularly annoying.

But good that you were able to solve the problem. But yeah be cautious that it shouldn't effect other things. May be I'll also give it a try .

                      @ Master :
Its really gr8 to hear that ur prob is solved.
But I still haven't been able to figure out whats a pickup coil !!

In fact a lot of Suzuki Fiero parts are compatible with this GV250 engine !! I am using the fiero oil filter currently.
                      @Sumit :
Get a new CDI and replace it. That will solve the flat spot !!

This is a pickup coil....its placed inside the alternator just above the magnet that rotates and the point shown in the pic is on the flywheel magnet and it transfers current ...............
Its very imp part regarding pick up ,any fault in this leads to missing of current.......I hope this will help in solving your query...........
BTW this thing comes with the full coil set,but I managed to get it alone thus saving a substantial amount.........
