Hey tushalb, buddy stop bestowing ur wrath around, save it for something worthwhile
Not all writers are bad. We bikers owe a great deal of our knowledge to them and feel grateful for that.

Man learn to think before u criticise. The statement was NOT general. I did not call ALL writers stupid. Just this newbie who raised false hopes when there were none. Just to fill a few pages in the mag. Mature writers do NOT assume the role of self-appointed survey agent. Anyway lets hope he learns from his mistakes, and who knows some day he might turn out to be a great review writer like Alan Cathcart etc.

By the way . . . we saw this writer attempting to champion somebody else's cause. And now we see YOU championing HIS cause. Hmmmm . . . do we see a pattern here ???

    *****************

About the launch of this bike . . . FAT CHANCE guys. RASH has alrady said it above. It seems he is right.
So RASH says and u follow []

    Well anyway man..
Listen hard and read hard.. The moral of the story was ...
    1. We need better bikes.
    2. There is someone ( even if u consider him to be a stupid writer) who is trying so bring a change.
    3. I am supporting his views so that ( may be probably ) better bikes do come in india.
    4. U r coming in the way by putting such statements.

    Your choices
    1. Help the cause and support us so we (may) get better bikes that we all deserve.
    2. Get Out Of The WAY
    3. Keep Complaining and demoralizing people who are putting in efforts to improve the biking scene in India.

    Up 2 U

I don't think that Authorities are gonna give a green chit to a bike with top speed 180kms/hr .
      Let's hope for the best.
180 kms/hr oooooops gonna be a good thrill for all the buyers.
I dont think the authorities have any hang ups with the max speed of any vehicle to be imported/manufactured in India. If that was the case, there would be no SL500s in India. Ditto with the Ferrari, BMW and Audi entry into the Indian market.
      true.

Besides cars, there is no speed cap on superbikes either. We have a few superbike ownrs at XBHP. Lets ask them that. Were they required by Indian authorities to restrict ur max speed in any way like putting speed governors etc. on their superbikes ?? I don't know for sure but it seems highly UNlikely.

          For Tushalb

Bro it seems u r still confused. At least read properly dear.
Lets see what u are accusing me of and what actually happened :

          #### U say : Listen hard and read hard.. The moral of the story was : We need better bikes.
**** I have previously written : Let us hope Kawasaki and BAL would decide to launch this bike in India . . . Hey Bajaj guys, don't think . . . JUST DO IT.

          #### U say : There is someone ( even if u consider him to be a stupid writer) who is trying so bring a change.
**** I have previously written : Mature writers do NOT assume the role of self-appointed survey agent. Anyway lets hope he learns from his mistakes, and who knows some day he might turn out to be a great review writer . . .

          #### U say : U r coming in the way by putting such statements
**** Poor you, what makes u imagine things like this . . . LOL. . . buddy u r forgetting that it was I who started this thread.

          #### U say : So RASH says and u follow
**** What's wrong with believing in something when common sense tells us that yes it is indeed so. I wanted to say something, but it was already posted by a member. So I gave credit to him and displayed my support. U gonna find fault with that too ??

          U further wrote . . .
          -------------------------------------------------------------
          Your choices
          1. Help the cause and support us so we (may) get
better bikes that we all deserve.
          2. Get Out Of The WAY

          -------------------------------------------------------------

Now I don't think I need to reply to this. I hope u wd have understood by now the origin of ur confusion :
1.) What I actually write here.
2.) U fail to read that carefully and imagine I wrote something horrible.

I mean no harm buddy, but either u r just plain out of ur elements these days . . . . or . . . u r the kind of guy who is deliberately looking for brawls. Tushalb, if you would have read my views CAREFULLY, perhaps you would have agreed that we are both fans of good bikes. So where does the bad feeling come from ??

            Cool down people...

YES, we all want good bikes, powerful ones. But the reality remains in the fact that these companies are more interedted in the commuter segment, which earns them more than 70% of their profit. Considering this bike, lets face it man, a writer, even if he gathers 2000-3000 votes still its not big enuf for a company like Bajaj to launch this bike. They will come up with something only when they feel that there will be a big volume that the bike will sell at.

Quite true. Commuter bikes earns these companies bread and butter. We are not in priority-list. Majority consists of ppl asking --- Average Kys Hai ? ----. CD DAWNS, Splendors and Boxer CTs are the earning sons for Bajaj and HHML. We performance bikers are a small minority. But now the winds are changing, tho gradually. Now besides commuter bikes the companies want a presense in performance segment too. Karizmas and Pulsars have set the trend resulting in Aquila & Comet's entry. We will see a few more perf. bikes within an year but the real deciding factors will be the PRICE and support.

Ken, I think everyone has already chilled down. And I guess its not about inter-member wars, but our sheer frustration that we are not getting anything big in our country yet...sad but true.

Sigh . . . Wish I could afford an imported one. Waiting to see what news comes from G2G cum HH Factory visit. Hope they r rolling out a 20+ bhp zma or 300+ cc bike. The former seems more probable. What the heck, there's only one day to go. We shall hear something by tomorrow evening.
