Cool.. competition for the Comet.. This might be quite interesting to follow.. Lets see who wins.
I have a feeling Bajaj is waiting to check the results of the Comet 250 before even entering with the Balius in the market. They might just inform the public about the Balius.. so ppl now will have a choice.
All we can do is wait & watch.. though it might be quite a while before teh balius is actually launched in IndiaCrazy about Bikes!!!Comment

Even if they do introduce it, therez no way it can be competition for the Comet coz the booking for the Comet ends soon and all the deliveries will be made in Feb - Finito! Its not gonna be a production bike that we can just go to a dealership and buy up at any time. If Bajaj really wants to go head to head with the Comet, they have to bring the Balius down fast and price it aggressively. Only then can it be competition._____________________________

Ken's right, if they launch it a couple of months later it wouldn't do very well as all the guys with money who wanted a 250cc would have already bought a Comet and the prospective buyers would become less.
Comparing the features with those of the Comet's, I feel the Balius would be priced at about 3 lac.LIVE LIFE KING SIZE !!Comment

Ken , when there's money to be made ,businessmen will thrive . If the Comet sells , there will be more batches of it , it happened with the Aquila , it will happen with the Comet shoudl it sell out .Man will occasionally stumble over the truth, but most of the time he will pick himself up and continue on.Comment
