      3. Handlebar replaced at 25000 Km - bend on the left side

      4. Both mirrors need to be replaced but they will cost Rs.9000 which is a lot of money. Thinking of going with mirrors off a local bike like the FZ or just getting these welded in place (issue is they keep flopping around)

Handle bar bent? Jeez, how did that happen Guru?

Carbon Fiber mirrors would look great on the MT

Please share details on the Stebel motorcycle horns and where can one source the genuine ones. There are plenty of fakes in the market. My ninja has a 6Ah battery. Would a powerful horn like the Stebel require a more powerful battery?

TZ is 99% restored. I just need a bubble for the front fairing now. Some pics:

It was a lucky find...sitting on the shelves at Sainath Auto Ultimate in Khar. Paid Rs.800 for it! Freight-Train kind of noise to accompany the freight-train torque

Should be possible to install in a busa if you separate the compressor from the trumpet and use a pneumatic hose in between. This way you can mount compressor up high and the trumpet wherever you find room under the fairings.

The bars were bent when a friend dropped the bike. He was unable to support the weight so it went down slowly but the handle got a small kink anyway. I was riding it like this for several months before I decided to replace it...most people don't notice the bend but on longer rides it became irritating.

Carbon accessories should be here soon...can't reveal more at this time

The Stebel has many fakes and it is difficult to tell an individual from a copy. I just matched the sound note and markings on the body with ones sold by the company. It could still be a fake

Very True..! Whenever u decide to part her (IF) I also know that it will never happen considering the amount of time you spent on her to get back to shape. If at all you decide some 30 years later also, i'll be readily willing to apply for a PL and get her

              • Hey GS..I read your comments on the Honda CBR250r and it led me to this thread. I had to come
Firstly, I should thank you and Akhil for putting up this thread and that too in style
I read from page 1, all the way to the last post and it was awesome! The bike sounds so amazing and only leaves me with a desire to own one someday.
Low-end rev is what gives me kicks too, not that I have ridden any of the big bikes though.
Thanks again for an amazing journey and shall be looking forward to have more exciting updates from you.

                  • @GS Ferrari: Wonderful thread there!
I didn't know what TZ was until I bumped into this thread and naturally, I had to both Google and YouTube it. I almost dropped my lower jaw on the table when I happened to see a track day video (YouTube: TZ250 East London Track Day)!
Please, start a thread on your experience with screamer. I 'd love to read!
