    took a few years to make this dream come true.. took bank loan from HDFC... only bank which is giving loan for superbikes...you too have a busa???

      @ doc...firstly congo....the busa looks gr8....

      many questions on my mind.
      firstly what was the final cost of the bike on road after all the legal stuff??
      (please deduct the excess u will be payin cause of the loan.)

      What sort of additional troubles did you face apart from the normal stuff like registration procedure and the insurance???

      Any other suggestions you might want to point out to other potential buyers....

      Thnx and congo again on the gr8 purchase....

        pune official dealer SWARGATE SUZUKI organised everything and the dealer was in constant touch with me giving me the updates till delivery. cost worked out to 13.63 lacs on road.
        am a happy customer of SUZUKI and have done 2200km.
        1st servicing was done at my home by the company technicians.
        since its official bike there is nothing to worry about.
        dreams come true..

          SUZUKI only importing busa or they do import other gixer models legally?

                      Yes I do own an 05 busa, I am planning for a New One in 2010. I approached a suzuki official dealer here in delhi, he told me about new busa in white color with blue sticker will be available by the end of November.

                      I am willing to make my final purchase by January 2010.

                      Also from you I would like to know about the HDFC Finance funda!!.

                      1) How much initial down payment.
                      2) loan application process, timing and documents required.
                      3) rate of interest.
                      4) Amount of monthly EMI with 3 - 5 years time span.
                      5) The plan you choose and what is the final amount you bearing after calculating the interest.

                      Also try to post some new pics of black beauty

                              7 paid sevicining by the company..
                              first service...800 km or 1 month whichever is earlier. for this the service coupan is punched in online at suzuki japan with all bike details so that they can monitor and record all progress.
                              in first service following was done.
                              1 change engine oil. oil filter
                              2 clean air filter
                              3 clean chain and lube.
                              4 general checkup.
                              cost of oil filter rs.716, engine oil(4 liter can-original suzuki motor oil typeo4 10W-40SF ) RS 3208, labour charges rs.900. total bill incl. vat Rs 5408
                              also oil used is 3.100 liter so the extra .900 liter oil is not used which is almost 1 liter of oil.....
                              2nd sevice due in 4000 km
                              i have done now 2800km.

                                Basic service for any super bike

                                As a rule of thumb; even if you do the basic bike maintainence yourself; account for
                                1) 3+ liters of synthetic engine oil (Shell helix ultra is @1000/Liter)
                                2) OEM oil filter @1000 -- DO NOT use any oil filter that is not designed for the bike, you will cause problems with regulation of oil pressure in the engine.
                                3) Air filter OEM @1000 to 2000 depending on the bike. (this is not a frequently required change)

                                This is the basic stuff. Usually water cooled bikes will need a coolant flush & replacement, that is pretty cheap to do and is much less frequent than the oil changes.
